I was wondering if anyone here knows of a way to unbrick an Expo.
Just got phone today and was flashing the lastest dragonstorm rom onto it when My computer crashed and I recieved a blue screen. Now when I push the power button the green light and the backlight turn on but the scren stays blank. Have tried re-flashing with both the LG update rom and the dragonstorm one but the only effect is occasionaly the 'Emergancy download' message comes on and stays on until I pull battery out.
Have you tried flashing with a different computer? was your computer running vista?
No. My computer is Windows 7. Have tried flashing on a laptop running Xp but the dragonstorm rom comes up with a message saying can not read whats on phone. Have also tried with the base rom and update rom but both go right through and say update complete but the phone is still the same.
My phone is "bricked", it won't load into the orange windows logo screen anymore, just LG logo and turn lcd off, that's it. Help
Try, Power on + space key, then you should see "emergency download".
And then try reflash phone.

Hi Guys,
I was in the middle of flashing my OMNIA 7 then suddenly my computer shutdown due to a blackout at our home. Now my phone is stuck on the OMNIA 7 logo during boot and keep going that way.
I could still manage to go to download mode and reflash but when I try to flash it there is an error that would indicate "WRITE MIBIB FAILED!"
Is my phone bricked? I need your help.
By the way, if I get still manage to go to the DOWNLOAD MODE would that mean that my phone is not bricked?

Have you tryed formating before you try? Just use the other volym button.

Yeah I tried it, but still not working. . I still manage to get to "download mode" though.
As I have read through the different posts in the forum I see people experiencing the same problem such as the phone which keep on restarting and stuck on the "OMNIA 7" startup logo. . I tried the fixes that other's recommended but still doesn't work.
I tried taking the battery out for a day then putting it back in, the phone managed to boot up and I was actually able to use it but if I try to restart it again or sync it to the computer, It suddenly resets then goes on the boot loop once again. .
Well then I guess there is only one way. Return it to the store. :'(
to flash, ALWAYS restart your computer before and use a laptop with charged battery to avoid this problem.
For your problem you can tried to flash only bootloader part, radio part, or only PDA part for testing.

I have a problem getting in to "Connect to PC" I followed the instructions on holding the power and camera buttons, etc. but it won't go to "connect to pc" screen. . it's just keeps on flashing the "Samsung Omnia 7 logo" on the screen everytime I turn it on.
I tried doing hard reset but I cant because once the hard reset screen shows up, the phone just restarts again then the start up loop happens again. .

my friend has a problem with his phone. He neither installed a custom rom, nor he rooted it. He updated OTA and after a week, while he was talking, the phone shut down.
When he powers it on the screen lights up and nothing else happens. Sometimes the vodafone splash came up, but nothing more.
I don't know if the phone boots into recovery as I don't see anything on the screen.
I tried booting to fastboot mode, and the pc detects it. But I whatever I try to do, (flash,erase etc) I get the error: Remote not allowed...
Any ideas how to fix it?

How? The screen shows nothing... And i haven't rooted it so I can flash another rom

hello everyone. i would like to say i think i permenatly bricked my phone. it is a D803.
i decided to flash a rom for a 802.
well all the touch functions were out of wack i had to tap middle of the screen to hit the home button ect...
so i decided to use R & D flash too and i used a 802dll and 802sea.tot file and flashed. all seemed fine until about an hour passed and it was still on LG screen flashing blue and green LED
i tried to put into download mode but it just hangs when it starts download mode where it shows the two little computers with the blue dots between them. i also tried recovery method but it just shows and android then a line of blue and restarts... then it goes to LG screen and keeps flashing blue and green. and i dont even get fastboot mode eaither........ so please can any1 help me out?? now my phone does not boot but as soon as i see the LG screen it comes up in device manger as port 13 or 41 whatever usb i put it on. but the phone is still on LG screen.
any ideas please any1

I guess I am going crazy. Need your help. Yesterday I was doing "Restore Upgrade Errors" from PC Suite and the phone was on Firmware Update screen. Suddenly it gave me an error saying there is no enough space in my computer (gosh I have 30 gb free space!). Then ta-da! the phone got stuck on firmware update screen. I tried hard reset, soft reset, download mode button combinations; I turned it off but always had the same screen. Besides, firstly it was saying "Unrooted" below then it said "Rooted" as if I rooted the phone.
What should I do? dont want to try the technical service. Custom Rom maybe the answer but when reaching download mode, should I see this screen? Because the phone is already stuck on firmware update screen. So my question is, when I plug the phone into my computer would it be seen and connected with the computer?
Phone is an HP Elite X3. Randomly got a blue screen that says error 0xc000098 and something about the \BCD file not having operating system information in it. This is after restarting the phone twice after updating it.
It is not possible to put the phone in flash mode, it just brings back the blue screen when restarted. Can't boot to OS.
Any ideas? The computer does not recognize the phone.
