Hello i was thinking that a irc channel could be in place. Sometime its just better to talk live..
I have registerd a channel on freenode, the channel name is ##blade (yes with two #)

Quickstart for joining the Wildfire IRC chat:
Go to http://webchat.freenode.net/
Enter a nickname
Put ##wildfire (Or ##wildfire,#android so you join #android too) in channel.
Fill the captcha field.
Click connect.
I'm having trouble finding the ip address and port for the IRC channel for Team Defuse. I would like to connect using my phone running AndChat. Anyone able to help?
they're on the freenode network.
so go into andchat....create a new server with the address & port of:
irc.freenode.net:6667
#teamdefuse is the channel name
once all info filled in, hit save then connect

Hey guys we have a IRC for people that want to talk/need help right away or help dev. please make ur name what it is here. if you want you can even register it so you never have to worry about other people taking it if ur going to use IRC alot.

We should try to revive this channel. I would love to see a perm channel for gtab 10.1 owners. I'll sit in it!
It's not something I've ever tried any recommendations for good irc software?
I use XChat and mIRC for my windows box, and Android IRC for irc'n on my tab, (with thumb keyboard - thats a necessity.)
Update:
I have registered the channel on freenode as an "un-official" channel. Thus, the required channel name is now ##galaxy-tab-10.1 (note the 2 #'s).
I will set up as bot sometime soon.
Searched a bit but could not find a dedicated IRC chatroom for our phone.
I made one in the coldfront servers. Tried freenode but #MotoG was already registered to an inactive user.

Sure but IRC is live chat!
Connecting to multiple servers tends to turn me off from channels. #motog may have been taken but was it active? if not you could always contact freenode staff and have em "restart" it, or go with something more like #Moto-Falcon or properly with ##MotoG
