haptic feedback disable? - Focus General

Is it possible to disable the haptic feedback on samsung focus? how?

I'd like to know this too... any idea where in the Registry it might be, or is there a XAP anywhere that might be able to disable this? I know it's not in the phone settings...

How to stop autorotate with keyboard slideout?

Hello. Just want to ask someone, how can I stop automatic rotation of the screen contents while I slide out the hw.keyboard? Is it possible indeed? It doesn't matter which device,I never get a solution to stop it. Please don't ask me,why I want that, simply I just hate it and want to disable this "feature". Currently I am using Raphael.
Thanks in advance for any tips.
An app that can block auto-rotating & enable auto-rotate without slideouting the keyboard would be very very great.

quick Q from a noob: When I miss a call/text - my screen stays on until I unlock it!

I don't know what settings to change... i am new to android and smart phones.
I know this was not happening when I bought the phone. Any help is very much appreciated. thanks!
Have you installed any sms apps that could do this? For example, SMS popup has a setting that keeps the screen on until the user replies/closes the msg/popup.
thanks for the reply. only relevant apps include... handcent, and maybe advanced task killer, juice defender. I just uninstalled all of those and will sort of start fresh. any other thoughts?
Make sure the puzzle lock feature is enabled in sound /display settings. I had the same issue. I think its a software glitch. The screen will not shut off after an sms if this feature is disabled. Need a patch Samsung.....
ok, thanks! I will give it a try.

[Q] Is it possible to disable vibration when unlocking the screen?

So I've searched through the threads and there doesn't really seem to be an answer for this other than to use something like widgetlocker, which I don't really want to do because I would like to still be able to use the music player controls from the lock screen. I'm just so annoyed by the haptic feedback every time I want to unlock the phone!
Does anyone know of any way to disable this?
btw Running Azure 1.0.1
Same here. But sometimes, if there is no answer in search means the problem can be solved easily... But I'm still finding the answer too
Go to: Menu - Settings - Security, then uncheck the "Use tactile feedback" option. Hope this is what you need.
@Rapier - yeah, I tried that but unfortunately all it does is disable all haptic feedback except for when unlocking the phone :S
Anyone have any ideas?

Strange. For me it works exactly as it should. Is disabling the feedback only for the unlock pattern, on the other keyboards, dialer and so on, haptic feedback is still present.
Are you using stock or custom ROM? I recall you've said something about Azzure. Maybe this is the issue. I'm using stock ROM and have no problems disabling through the way I told you.

Ohhh ok yeah I guess that's the problem there. I'm running Azure 1.0.1 and unfortunately there does not seem to be any option on my ROM to disable the haptic feedback for the lockscreen as it uses the vanilla lockscreen, for which I believe there was no option to remove haptic feedback. But yes, I do recall being able to turn it off when I was running a stock ROM.
Well, that's a bummer, but thanks anyway!

Hey thanks! This looks like just what I need! I read through the thread and it doesn't seem like it's all too stable but I suppose it's worth giving a shot

[Q] Z01 on Android 4.2.2, accessibility problem Help

I am using "WidgetLocker Lockscreen" for some time and I'm happy with it apart from the fact that I can't see any notifications on the locked screen.
I installed "NiLS Lockscreen Notifications" which is supposed to show notifications on the Locked Screen.
I was asked to enable the program in system/accessibility. When pressing the "off" key in order to turn it on, I got a system disclaimer explaining why this is done but without any button to enable accessibility.
Did anybody experience the same?
Any idea how to solve it?
My watchphone is rooted, can I enable accessibility by modifying any system file?
Thanks in advance for any help on the subject

[Q] Is there softkey haptic feedback on A5 (2016)?

As mentioned in title, i was wondering if there's haptic feedback on the softkey on A5 (2016)? I tried searching everywhere in the settings but couldn't find it. Just want to double confirm if there is or not, because there is haptic feedback on other Samsung phones.
No
Is there a way to enable haptic feedback via any kind of ROM modification? I don't know, editing some .xml?
