I INSTALLED CLEAR TEMP.CAB FILE AND THEN CLEAR THE CACHE SINCE THEN THE DEFAULT FILE EXPLORER IS NOT VISIBLE IN MENU PLEASE HELP ME TO GET IT BACK
You must use an other explorer (Resco explorer) and copy-paste "Windows\fexplore.lnk" under "Windows\Start menu" folder.

how to set file associations to particular program...
i installed 'RESCO EXPLORER' which has option 'open with'. i tried opening '.cab' file through it with 'open with' program as explorer. it ran that '.cab' file once. after that i m not able to run any other '.cab' file. when i try to open any '.cab' file even through in-built WM explorer, nothing happens and explorer hangs.. i think i have messes up with file associations.
Can anybody pls tell how to associate '.cab' file to appropriate program??

Is thr any option to select multiple files in Mega? Whenever i try to do the selection by moving down the finger on the screen it starts scrolling files instead of selection. Any tweaks???

Its not possible in Mega with the default File Explorer, you have two options.
1. Google for File Explorer extension for Mega
2. use a different file explorer like total commander / resco which has these functions inbuilt
Mutiple file selsction is possible

So I'm new to Android tablets and got the TF700 to replace my Windows 7 tablet for trips.
The main item i want to do is backup my photo with light file management. I'm trying to find out how to select all the files with date create on 1 day and copy them but leave the rest of the files.
On windows I would find the first file and use CRTL+END then CTRL+C and CTRL+P in the directories I want to move the file to. So this may only copy 200 files out of a 600 file directory.
Is there any way to do this on android?
Currently I've got File Manager, Total Commander, Ghost Commander, OI File Manager, X-plore, ES file Explorer and Astro installed trying to figure it out.
You missed the best explorer for me : Solid Explorer beta 2 (available in the market).
If your files are named with the date inside, you can filter your files and then select all in one click, and move them where you want
