miROM missed_shortcuts_to StartMenu.cab on changing the new icons i have few forgot: Commanager, WiFiRouter, SoftReset and uTask. it install the shortcut icons in StartMenu. with uTask you can change the NEW added Button (Standardfunction is Fritzy-Boys ActionScreen) is the same as long press Power Button.

1600 radio very fast rom the weather is working my location too everything seems to work.if try to enter camera from touch flow it work everything seems to be fine. One problem when i connect to my notebook via active sync it's blocking my phone and i must take out the battery to power on again.

First thing i have noticed, in file explorer there is no paste option when you right click!

thank you very much to try this BETA. I test here a another way- SENSE normally consists of many individual packages and files, here i have make one package with all relevant files. if this SENSE package will work fine, i can this "one package SENSE 2019" put in different miROMs, and also create as stand alone cab.
miROM1 relase 4 will have all packages and apps, such miROM1 relase 3- an 0300 radio.

You're right you cannot do that. Weird..
And this rom is pretty fast so far BUT
1. music player still stops on sleep mode
2. (may be related to cht2) sometimes when turning phone from sleep mode call keypad appears and continues to appear until restart.
Otherwise this rom is great so far! EVERYTHING is faster than previous version

.NET 3.5 is already installed, however it does throw up an error upon completing installation of fingerkeyboard 2.1.
One option would be to use attached .net configuration tool, try the application policy tab, and try one of the 3 .net version installed on the rom, try 3.7.8345.0 for example

try this:
install Default InputMethod (select your default Keyboard when WinMo starts) set one exist keyboard as standard.
install sdkcert.cab and then install your other Keyboard
... and i hope i make 20 ROMs
Hi Miro,
when i connect TG01 to my notebook the handy freezes and turns off -- after the reboot it does not freeze anymore but i cant get any connection to Windows Mobile Device Center. With former versions of mirom1 i had no problem at all.

This is another WM6.1 ROM (build 20931) relesed out for testing. The released ROM uses 12MB of pagepool.
I encountered many problems with almost all the new ROMs cooked with 3.13 or 3.18 set of Drivers.
Following were the main problems:-
1. The Prog Memory goes down from 102 MB to mere 84MB causing shortage.
2. The Manila 2D sliding is sometimes sticky with or with out 3D drivers.
.AND
3. Many of the programs dont run on them.
4. While using any of the programs sometimes the device suddenly used to stops responding for 2-3 seconds.
So I begin to ask myself, after all, what have we gained with new set of drivers???????????
And what is wrong with using a bit older drivers till we get a better and stable ones from HTC
So, here are my effort to:
1. Use 1.60 Set of drivers.
2. Remove 3D drivers (sorry bally3)
3. The XIP is all re-done. And the ROM is re-tuned.
4. Downgraded the Radio to 1.58.25.14.
Result:
1. The Prog Memory increases from 84 MB to mere 101+ MB
2. The Manila 2D sliding is butterly smooth.
AND
3. Most of the programs sould run now.
4. The device not stops responding any more.
!!!!!!!!!!!!At least I am very happy and more satisfied now.!!!!!!!!
MAIN Feature:
This ROM can be dumped and recooked. Unlike many of the cooks, no RGU have been deleted. No DSM has been deleted. And most of all, the ROM has not been crippled against dumping by deleting IMGFS signatures. So feel free to dump and modify upto your taste. And share the knowledge with the community. We can improve more by sharing the knowledge than keeping it secret.

Hi, the rom looks good. Any chance of a cleaner version? mainly without M2D, HTC keyboards, Cube.... rest of apps can be left cooked in since they don't seem to take much resources/space. But the ones I listed are toomuch for us other SIP/homescreenUI/SPB....etc. users =) I personally use TouchPal + HomeScreenUI to make the machine lighter and faster.

After dump the rom (kitchen tool "imgfstodump.exe imgfs.bin") we get an dump dir with all the files in the rom so Beep developed a tool called "PKGTool.exe" to organize it creating the SYS and OEM directories what i get is in the picture attached.

This newest radios only work for 3.13 or 3.18 not for 1.60
You'll have to choose between speed, memory ram, stability that you get with this new rom or battery life and better phone signal (i haven't noticed better gps fix) from the "old" c_shekar 20931
Why do you hate the cube so much? There is so much of free memory now that you should not bother abt it anymore. Still if you dont like it you can very well disable the cube with change of only one registry key.

The radio needed for this ROM is 1.58.25.14 or lower. As I have already mentioned in the first post. Personally I have not found any significant difference in the battery consumption of the two Radios. So I never felt any pain in going back to older radio. I hope you too shall not find any pain either..

(just mentioned a few "common" issues in some cooked ROMs, that are working in my ROM)
Extendir (thanks to bobsbbq for helping me with it's configuration) and Tom's autoinstall(thanks to my friend, you know who for providing me this autoinstall) are included in the ROM!
The good think about extendir is that the rom is very fast (without any mysticized "hack") For more information: EXTENDIR
To fully benefit of the autoinstall feature:
- create an "Autoinstall" folder on your SDCard
- place all your cabs that do not require any user intervention during its installation
- all these cabs will be automatically installed in the Main Memory during the flashing procedure
NOTE: sometimes, the rom flashing get stuck when reaches tom's autoinstall (due to extendir's beta state). It's not a problem, just restart the device and the flashing will continue! This doesn't affect in any way the rom functionality!
To avoid this small nuisance, I'd suggest using MTTY prior flashing. Anyway, it's recommended using MTTY prior flashing any custom ROM. For more info: read here: MTTY
To get the square taskbar buttons (instead of the rounded ones) just change the theme in Settings/Home to one of Livven ones (included already in the ROM).

When you first got your HD2 did you run one of the stock ROM's for any length of time , i.e a 21891 based ROM? I have been running a 6.5 (21891) for the last few days and kinda got used to the old way and format of the screen. The HD2 was really snappy compared to my Tilt2!
Of course I immediatley flashed your new ROM (and have flashed a few other 6.5.x ROM's) and there is a definite difference in just the quickness of everyday button tapping etc. There seems to be just a bit of lag with your 24001 based ROM.
Do you think that is normal and / or just part of the newer OS? It seems to me that I had one of the quickest ROM's on my Tilt2 that was 24001 based ???

i was on 1.66 for about two days. din know any stkck rom with 218890. everything seemef faster. opera loads in under 1sec
if ur on manila keep in mind yhat it has some modds in with hometabb. but not slow.
mayb my scale is a lil off as i com from slower device. some once may b coulx clear it

Ahh... I'll take care of that programs 1(1) folder, also have that empty Outlook folder... I'll update those soon, also wanna organize the start menu next update.

This is actually an EXT file for rom cooks, part of my sharing all my bits-n-pieces over at ppcgeeks. Someone here might be able to turn into a .cab for ya. I only deconstruct .cabs into rom bit...

A rom update has been posted! This update took care of a few things. My kitchen was also updated to the RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.1 rom put up by xmoo yesterday. It's posted in the first post. Here are some of the changes...

The internet comes and goes for me, same with my SMS. great rom though, just those two issues happened to me yesterday, hopefully it stops. Also got a black screen, and had to take battery out

Whose service do you have? This is the TMobile rom that shipped with your device plus a couple skins I added... I'd call 611 and complain about your service in your area! How did it work before? Have you re-flashed your device?

FAQs - HELP QUESTIONS:
I removed MMApplauncher, can't access start menu now - You won't be able to because mmapplauncher has been installed INSTEAD OF start menu. This ROM does not have WINMO startmenu so please don't remove mmapplauncher. The reason is removal of start menu saves valuable 15-20mb RAM that makes this rom faster even with multitasking.
Finger Keyboard - It shows error or I don't like it or it's rubbish etc etc - Please install another keyboard that is available in the forum. The reason I haven't cooked in a keyboard is solely because it's a very very personal choice that change from user to user and if you don't like your keyboard, you will hate your phone!
Linux/Ubuntu users can't active sync - Yes, reason being .exe files are not support in Linux and hence you can only install programs in VirtualBox - however, I have removed few packages to save 5-7mb of storage in the ROM as Linux based users are in minor numbers. On Linux you will still be able to activate this phone as 'mass storage device' and will be able to add or remove files, photos, music etc from the memory card. Only thing not possible is - ActiveSync program installations on Linux.

I would LOVE to try and make this rom in French (ps: I love that language, can speak little, basic)
BUT, I don't have any TG01 that I can test it on.
If you really want it in French, You are free to ask your favourite cook to translate it, I don't mind someone else doing this for you (may be ask Miro if he can do it or someone else who is active cook on XDA + who have done French roms before)
OR
give me some time, and I will try to translate and make beta which some beta testers can test before i can release for you

Thanks for the clean rom. I have installed the rom yesterday, so far no problem in operation. But I faced one problem with outlook (looking). When the keybord is open, it covers some area on bottom windows and other icons. I hope you will fix that soon

No the development has not been stopped on this ROM, why? The last update was in Jan 2011 with cab install and further cleaning. Please let me know how you are getting along with this ROM!
