i have hp ipaq6828 phone... so i did flash it with new rom after complete full install my device came to black screen.. i was try to get turn on it again.. but it cant... its nw charging.. charge light is work fine... but no more power on or no more boot loader screen & hp logo screen... so how can i ge bootloader sccreen again??? or hw can i fix my devicce... please help... i love my phone & i dont have enought my to buy new one....

after you have fully charged your phone, try flashing it again...Happy New Year.

you try to flash WM5 rom and then flash the rom. offline flash memory card.

try to Hard Reset your device , here the way to do that...
Perform a hard reset with the iPAQ. To perform a hard reset,
1. Press and hold the Answer/Send, Power, and End Call buttons.
2. While holding these buttons, use the stylus to lightly press the Reset button on the bottom (located at lower left base of the iPAQ), of the HP iPAQ until the device restarts.
3. When the HP iPAQ restarts, release all of the buttons, and then remove the stylus from the Reset button. The HP iPAQ restarts and powers on.
CAUTION: A Hard reset clears memory, deletes all data (such as owner information under Setup Wizard and AutoConfigurator) and restores the rw6818/rw6828 to its default factory settings. The action will erase all data that you have created and programs you have installed, but will keep all the preinstalled programs that were in the phone when your phone was first delivered to you. Be sure you have backed up all your data in a mini SD card or on your PC before performing a hard reset

To go in the boot loader screen you have to:
press & hold camera and commmanager button
press the softreset hole
release the commmanager button and keep hold the camera button until the 3 colours display appear

don't worry, your device isn't bricked as long as you can run it in bootloader
check in WIKI if you have G3 or G4 Prophet

Take it easy and flash the ROM as described. Use any WM5 ROM compatible with your device, but preferrably one with no vendor ID. In case you cannot update normally use the RUU-No-Vendor-ID application found in the FTP.
As said above the device is not dead, it can be recovered.

Thank you for your help. I installed the rom dezzer advised (post 7 of this thread) and it worked fine. Does that mean tha NOW i can flash smart1 1.3's?
Yep. Turn off the phone, make it sync with activesync and run UPDATE_ROM.bat.
Then cross your fingers Kidding. It will surely work. Remember to hard-reset after the upgrade.
If anything goes wrong just reflash WM5 and hard-reset. Always hard-reset after ANY OS upgrade.

maybe activesync didn't install properly when you flashed it..
or.. you should try the activesync uninstall/reinstall trick..
or a corrupt system file and you just have to hard reset the phone..

hard reset is when you press the clear storage right? or when u take out the battery while its still running??

A hard reset is preformed as follows:
-Hold down the two softkeys on the front of the device (the ones above the Windows logo and the OK button)
-Press the reset button using the stylus, which you can find below the volume adjuster on the left hand side of the device
-Release the stylus, but keep the softkeys held down
-You will see a warning screen
-Press the green send key on the left - the one with the phone icon on it to confirm the reset.
After that it will take a little while longer to start up the phone.
Btw if you by "original settings" mean restoring your official ROM a hard reset won´t do. You will need to flash the official ROM to go back if I´m not mistaken.

Are you just trying to go back to the stock ROM becasue of the AS problem? Did you try a reinstall? After you uninstall before reinstalling AS go into your program files on the PC and delete the activesync folder.
If you HARDSPL'ed you need a STOCK ROM without the nbh. file. Thats why its kicking back to TOUCH.

I tried to update my Shadow by the new wm6.1 rom.. the first time it went to 100% and restart with an error 270 : the image is corrupt . After, when I boot loader, it go to 2% and restart every time ( many) :
I'm stucked at bootloader mode and tried many roms but no one sucsess ... all of them reach 2% and then stopped.
even I tried the original one (Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.exe) from t-mobile official site but also same result.
so can any one help me and give me any solution to try?

* How can I upload sspl/uspl to my phone from bootloader because it's the only mode I can work my phone?
* when I tried to do USPL + RUU it go to 100% and then the phone restart and the RUU program says corrupted image...
then the phone stays in it's state (only can go to bootloader mode).
can I use MTTY program to flash sspl/uspl and USPL and then the new rom? if yes .. how I can do it?

Power off the phone
Press and hold the camera and voice keys
Insert the USB cable, Keep holding the camera and voice keys until you get the bootloader screen
Then flash an original ROM.

hi
if u can get ur tricolor screen then try this
connect the usb cable to pc and see if u get the USB words on the phone tricolor screen if so good try flashing any official ROM the same happened to my phone long back did the above got my phone back asuming u have done HSPL for ur phone if u have not done that then the only way is to take it to service

Wrong forum.. Touch P3450 is not a touch 3g , its the original touch (ELF version)
but i will try and help as i have owned both.
if your hardware buttons are not working it could be possible that your send and end keys are stuck down as this key combo brings up the hard reset you are talking about.
think you are going to have to open it as it sounds like a hardware fault, and if you cannot get into bootloader you cannot flash
if it was working alright before this is not the case, but either way you will have to fix your camera button and get into bootloader
