ROM space after flashing Android to nannd - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello
I have noticed that I have maximum of 114 mb of internal (rom storage) after flashing desire rom. Is it normal? How big is this Rom? In WM I remember having about 231 mb phone space ! Check the attached screenshot. Let me know if its just my phone or if It's common.
Thanks

Install "Move2SD Enabler" and it will allow you to move all apps aswell as set default install location to SD card.

I just do not understand why you do have only 114Mb available in your internal memory, is that normal ?

How is this storage situation possible?

The math doesn't seem to add up to me but there could be more to it than I just don't see. Does anybody know why I don't have more free space?

backup your stuff manually and do a complete wipe. I lost some 3GB of storage space somehow but a wipe cleared that up. Loaded the same stuff back on and it was 3GB less than before.
I don't think the storage factors in the system or data partitions, which do count towards your total storage space. Try downloading an app called storage analyser. It gives pretty robust information on all partitions.

Google Camera | Save to EXT SD?

I was wondering if anyone here knew a way to change the save directory of any of the many Google Camera's
Having a lot of problems with Samsung Camera so I prefer this one

However the only problem I have with this Camera is it only saves to Internal memory by default and can't seem to find a way to change that so I can save every picture I take to my External SD Card.
I'm currently using the Omega ROM V3.0 and using the Google Camera that is optional in the Aroma Installer and have frozen the stock Samsung Camera.

Storage Question

Hey y'all I was wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with the internal storage. When I enter the menu for storage it says the 6.2 GB of misc files but when I tap it it uses the stock file manager. I don't see any files in there that come close to that. I can't find it with a root browser either. I'm just wondering.

That + everything listed below will give your total.

Thanks LeftyGR. Damn that seems like an awful lot of memory space. My last phone didn't use that much.

Galaxy S4 how to fix/merge partitions?

I just installed Cyanogenmod 12 the other day, runs fantastically on my L720
I noticed my total storage space was lower than normal... (16GB model.)
Ran Terminal "df" command to view partition info and saw this:
Looks like I have duplicate partitions?

}
This is what my storage available looks like in settings:
Is there a way to restore my partitions to original and regain my storage space?
Your storage looks normal to me.
Shouldn't total space be closer to 16GB?

After the OS installs that's about all you get.
Put an SD card in there.
Thanks guys. Already using a 32GB as card.
