hey guys i got a problem, i have an HD2 running on Airtel(India), in Win Mo ,it runs fine, but in Android, i dont get connected even tho i have the required settins on the phone. any help would be usefull, if you know any specific thread, that would be usefull too. thanks

Hi Folks,
a friend of mine also have the Blackstone (me too). He uses O2, and has a strange problem. When he receive a MMs, the device stays connected after the message has been downloaded.
Is there a registry tweak to solve this problem?
I wil put this thread up, due to be seen better. Does nobody have a clue?
Well, you can use HD Tweak so data connection disables after a set time when not used.

But.... I´m so stupid: I´ve allready installed HD Tweak on my Blackstone, but i havn´t seen the point "GPRS-Disconnection"...

Hi guys. I just recently had to revert back to my touch due to my Pre crapping out. I'm actually kind of glad it did now that I see android is working pretty good on it.
I reactivated my phone through Sprint's site and calling works fine, however when it tries to connect to #777 it is unable. I haven't used the phone since last September and don't really remember what rom I have on there, but I beleive it was one of NSFAN's (sorry if I spelt that wrong). I'ts definetly running Win Mob 6.5. When I last used it everything ran fine. My goal is to get evrything working, and then try out some android roms. Can someone point me where I need be??? Thanks!
I am having this same issue after switching from my TP2 to my old Vogue. The voice and text services work but I cannot get data to work! My Vogue is also running on NSFAN's ROM. I think it has to do with the EPST settings but I don't know what needs to be changed. When I switched back to the TP2, it initially did not have data working either, but after I updated the profile, it seemed to fix the issue.
Does anyone know how to do update profile on the Vogue that has a custom rom?

Just got this problem with my HTC elf100 the other day. I can't seem to find the answer for it so I'm looking for some advice on how to work these problem out.
First, I'm from the Philippines and the network I've used first is Globe. I have alot of problems with the signal cause when I'm outside its really high, but when I go inside my house it starts searching for signal. So, I changed my sim network to Smart. It worked fine, but just then the second problem arise.
Second, is that I used my phone to access the internet. I used the internet sharing. It worked at first although it's a little slow. Then after an hour or so I got disconnected. It started searching for a network. I restarted my phone hoping that the signal would go normal again. But upto now, it still search for signal. I don't know what happen.
Help is really appreciated. Thanks very much.
By the way, i tried Hard reset - nothing happened
I'm trying upgrading the radio to 3.21.90. I've already flashed it but its still 2.93.90. Don't know if I'm doing it the right way. Please help me.

It's me again. I've already upgraded my radio version and the spl. But sad to say, nothing happened. It's still searching for signal. I'm really getting frustrated about this. I don't know what else to do. Or maybe there's some technical problems involved? But my unit hasn't been open since I got it. Please is there anything I can do before I dump this thing. I really love this phone. Hope you could give me other solutions. Thanks a lot.

Hello there. I have one question. Using a few random ROMs from a random chiefs I temporary stopped at Evolution 2.5a. but finded a few bugs like incorrect working Camera's interface and troubles with internet sharing. internet sharing via ICS is dummying after some time sharing internet over Wi-Fi is dummying too, after a short time too. I tried to use standard HTC tools for create connection - unuseful. Also tried Morose Media WMWiFiRouter - result wrote earlier. Can anyone tells me, in currient ROMs this bug with internet still present or not?
and what ROM you can advise?

Dblaster, thanx for your advise, i'll try Pajerm's ROM few days later. Tonight (it still downloading) I'll flash igomyown's ROM forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178025. in testing process I maybe find needed for me services and stay on this ROM. maybe not and try something else.
also it was great idea use Opal as wi-fi router)
and now i needed a internet, but every time install / uninstall SIM can damage Opal, what I can't accept.

Dblaster, Hello. I've tried suggested ROM, but it doesn't fit to my needs. With Internet Sharing this rom works like Jagan's Evolution 2,5A..

Hi there, Robertins. I'll try this rom, but I think it can have such problems with Internet Sharing. Can you test this part of rom? And also test a WiFi Router with functions 3g to WiFi and 3g to USB and report how it works with opal?
all problem that I have a slow connection and a limited traffic on this time and can not download much roms.. Soon this problem will be solved, and in that case Opal with correctly working ICS (internet connection sharing) will not be needed.

specific problem is in that Inet sharing works a _wery_short time and hangs (it looks like all correctly working but no ping to any serv) in random types of using (as I wrote ICS by HTC / WM tools and by WiFi Router in random usage - 3g to USB and 3g to WiFi). There is a problem. As I thinking it may be linked with type of PPC. Because I tried few ROMs. All of them have same simptomes of this kind of work with HTC Opal.
I try to find where exactly problem covered. Because I (and maybe someone other users) needed in this functions.
Have u tried this thing with the stock rom yet???
I don't remember if the internet sharing was in it or not.

Yep, in stock rom ICS present, but works as in WM6.5 and 6.5.3 terrible(

Try Pajerm's ROM 4.. That is the Best....
