The image speaks for itself, but I'll add some info. I have a SetCPU profile for screen off that sets it to 245 min and max, and I haven't been using the phone hardly at all the past two days. Wifi has been on the entire time.
Normally, after 8 hours of light use, my phone would be dead with Android System taking up about 40% of the battery, and the three radio entries taking up about 16% each.
I've been using CyanogenMod 6.1.1 since the day it came out, with it's built-in kernel, not Pershoot's. I've done nothing else custom. The only thing that I can correlate with this change in battery life is a new version of SetCPU came out a couple days ago.
Or maybe it's just an unrelated fluke, and tomorrow whatever battery-eating bug exists in the system will rear its ugly head again. I dunno. All I know is I've never seen battery life like this on my G2.

101% yaaaaay I can add

What on earth!?

Screen not even registering as using any?
most of my usage is screen for 60%+ (maybe 2 hrs on)
and 15~18 hours tops!

You still geting great battery life I have the same setup and battery life is average not as good as 6.1

I do not mean to highjack your thread but I have a question. For the cell standby power consumption, what is registered as the amount of time with no signal? I am in a full HSPA+ area and it still tells me that 50% of the time my phone has no signal, how is that possible? Thank you for your responses.

I managed 56 or 59 hours once and the display wasn't on the list either. I mentioned this in another thread but it was generally ridiculed and dismissed

i lose about 50% of battery with hspa on during a 8 hour shift. Of course random facebook and texting is going on.

I noticed an improved battery life with the unofficial Gingerbread builds. Did Google finally get it right?

That has been my experience, though I'm still stuck using the stock HTC sense since I updated to 1.72 before rooting.
Whenever I check battery use, the Display is ALWAYS the highest consumer, by a large margin. I usually see 60-70% Display, and the cell standby, etc are only a few percent. Now I'm really upset I can't root it for the forseeable future.
Did you just not ever touch the phone at all? I mean, the display isn't even listed!!?!?

As I said, I was barely using the phone at all.
Right now I'm at 95% after 10 hours of non-use. I don't remember this ever being possible in the past.
Even when I actively use the phone (at least in the past) Display would never be very high. Android System was always #1 with the radios beneath that, and Display somewhere around 6%, as I recall.
In the time it took me to write this post mostly in Swype, I lost 2% so my crazy battery life seems limited to the screen being off (with the corresponding very low cpu speed). Still, it's never been this good before.

lol the title is hilarious just had to say

I bet the lcd being not used plus wifi instead of 3G is the reason. Plus, I think it's witchery not wizardry, lol! Maybe both... whatever they are both hilarious! Ah, the days of yore!

61hrs off charge w/ 13hrs awake

Since google introduced voice calling in Gmail, I haven't been using my phone too much xcept for reading engadget/gizmodo/lifehacker/bgr blogs and browsing xda in bed for an hour or two just before going to sleep. Occasionally I would watch one anime episode (or more, depending on my mood) using VLC Stream & Convert as well. This is what I'm getting:

... and here's the setup (1500mAh OEM, no battery conditioning + no SetCPU/Tasker/etc whatsoever):
Now I can finally say that HTC Evo is officially better than my old Touch Pro in every way possible. Previously TP would last only ~24hrs, even if wasn't using it at all. Evo on the other hand will last for days when its "sleeping". Android's power management at its best
PS: under constant use the battery life is a completely different story. Max LCD brightness w/out timeout + stream DI.fm w/ XiiaLive wasted the battery in just 3:55 . So the conclusion we can draw here is, if you want long battery life - don't use the phone

61 hours, well that's not bad, i have that beat with over 72 hours, lol, and your right to get it to last that long you have to pretty much use it alot less then normal.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=780583
i went 3 days 12 hours and 46 minutes on a single charge, that is with using the stock battery and a regular wall charger, yes i'm rooted and i used setcpu to set my frequency to 614 when screen on, and 245 when screen off, at night when i go to sleep i put the phone into airplane mode, and overall usage was cut back to light to moderate usage, i was trying to see how long i could actually go on the stock battery, and i must admit i'm very impressed.

did you use OEM battery or an aftermarket/extended one? mine was the 1500mAh OEM that came with the phone. also, i didnt use airplance mode so maybe that's why i could reach 3-day battery life...

[Q] update: ABYSMAL BATTERY LIFE - internal storage faulty?

So my phone sometime last for 3 days, normal usage, sometimes it lasts barely a day. That's with same apps, same usage, same patterns.
I charge my phone before going to bed. If I wake up with it still on 100% I know I'm in for a 3 day+ cycle, but sometimes for no apparent reason, I wake up with 75-80%.
Better Battery stats shows the phone was asleep 99% of the time. I'm going crazy over this love/hate relationship with my phone.
That's android. Sometimes apps go rouge.
Posting from my LG G2 while driving an Evo IX.
Under alarms section I see com.android.phone has hundreds, even thousands, depending on uptime, wakeups. What could this mean? My carrier has FD so I have it enabled, is this connected?
I've now started having abysmal battery life. I've flashed kk kdz and started from scratch yesterday. Greenify all apps I can think of, frozen all bloat. Google now is not running, location services off, Google backup turned off, I barely used the phone. I've had great battery life on kk before, it's abysmal the last week. No apparent wakelocks, no rogue apps. I'm literally stumped as to what is happening.

Could be a built hardware issue. I've heard and seen bad battery reports.
Mine isn't as great as everybody elses, but lately I've been running without battery save on full brightness using chrome all day and changing things since root. So that's to be expected.

I'm thinking it's hardware as well. I'm gonna do another charge cycle and see if anything changes. If not, I'm factory reseting again but with no apps installed. If that fails as well, I'm gonna go claim warranty...which will leave me without a phone for a week, at least.
My drain hunting is still going on. What I have found out is the phone works fine when it's factory reseted. After installing apps, everything is still fine. The problem starts happening after my memory starts getting filled. I can't pin-point if it's pictures, videos, music..but I' sure the files themselves are good. Because they are my personal files, not downloaded from shady places.
Pretty much after some time, the drain appears again.
Is there a way to check the internal storage for errors and to possibly fix them?
i reverted back to 4.2.2. KK was draining my battery for the same activity about 2x the speed. it wasn't even a "i think" it's draining more.. it's definitely. revert back to 4.2.2 if batter life is important to you.
i tried both XDAxebb's and micromods's stock and stock debloated.
If I may, you seem to have used 3G for 12 hours over a 58% battery drain. As far as I know that qualifies as great battery life.

[Q] sharp aquos battery

I bought the sharp aquos crystal and really like this, however the battery life is not very good. Are there any tips to increase battery life,
went through all the usual steps
Yeah I've had horrible stand by times and because of that my battery screen on time (sot) has been usually 2.5-3.5 hours. Many people claim 5-6 hours sot. Android system is eating a lot of battery up. Any help would be appreciated.
Greenify from the Play Store helps a lot with battery life; however, without root it will only hibernate user apps. But that's usually enough to keep FB, Twitter, Skype, etc, from running in the background constantly...
Screen on time: that depends on how bright you have your screen, but in about 45% setting and about 4 hours SOT, the wife is getting well over 24 hours on a charge. Your mileage may vary...
H,
I don t know if it can help, but my battery life is great, but , if I plug my phone on my PC and the PC is down (automatic sleep for example), the battery is very very bad...
If having battery problems try Snapdragon Guru from the playstore. It is made to help battery saving on snapdragon processors. Enjoy
Well...

I had the same issue had screen times of between 2-3 hours. What I had to do to get to 4-5 hours screen time was disable "stay on" the qualcomm location extra, and motion turn on and off of the display. There is definitely wake up issues with this phone so just make sure to kill processes that use location especially google apps like maps after using them. I also downloaded juice defender to help manage the data because I live in not the best coverage area and that eats up battery too. Try those settings restart the phone and see if it helps you.
I think the battery life on this phone is ridiculously good. I get 5-6 hours SOT with LTE on. Location on Battery saving. I use no battery "savers" because they don't work. For a comparison my nexus 4 can only muster 3-4 hours SOT on a good day. Not sure what you people are doing with your phones.
You are crazy if you are complaining about battery life. Unless you have a faulty device I don't think there are many 5" screen phones out there that can deliver such great performance.
Still at 24% with modarate use, can easily get 2 days out of it.
My battery consumption is just like that. It's very good!
However, I do use "Lux" from the market , to control screen brightness and tones, depending on time of day.
Far better than Android's built-in light control

I'm getting pretty good life. Greenify was the 1st app I put on here though lol

Without any battery app with stock laucher, i get 4-5+ SOT.
When I first get it, only get 2-3 SOT. But It start to be longer once it "settle in".
My battery life got progressivly worse as time went on. Sharp will change it for you if you send it in after printing the shipping labels and info for it (meaning they have to say, "Yes, the battery needs replacing). I don't have time for that! Also, my little square that indicates if phone has been water damaged was touched by my own moist little finger so, they'll say warranty is void. I did find a replacement battery. Anyone have any tips or pointers on replacing it? I've never owned a phone with an internal battery that couldn't be removed and i don't want to mess it up.
Mine has the flashing red LED stating the internal battery isn't being charged. The damn thing isn't even a month old.... It's so much BS. SCREW AQUOS. Asshats...

LOL Oh. Yeah your right. Didn't realize that. I have wireless chargers everywhere "even made one that was non-slip for my truck" must have put it on one sometime and forgot. Sorry bout that guys. Didn't mean to post a false reading LOL But still I've seen pretty close to those numbers several times without charging.. Depends on what I've been doing of course.
Btw That was an old screenshot I just had in my gallery from not long after I got the phone.
Ive gotten 34 hours out of it so far im really impressed
I have the moto Maxx, Mexican firmware. I´m from Argentina.
Could you tell me guys the version and the baseband of yours?
Because it seems that the latin america version the battery is barely poor.
Thanks!
Damn... Going beast mode with this battery. Would've gone longer, but gotta use it more tomorrow when I'm out. Ya, I know I only have 4hrs of SOT. Haven't been using much
I assume anyone getting more than 48 hours of battery life is turning off data, or at least disabling updates/background data. Just out of curiosity, do you always keep that turned off, or do you just do that when you're seeing how much you can squeeze out of the battery? In my mind, the big reason to get a device with a big battery is so you don't have to baby the battery like that.

Terrible Cell Signal.

HI everyone. I'm using Cricket Wireless on my Verizon Galaxy S7(G930V) running the G930U software. So I'm getting 4g LTE. But the cellular signal is TERRIBLE inside my house (1-2 Bars max) with this phone when compared to my Unlocked T-Mobile Note 4 that I was using before this S7 (I was getting 3-4 bars). I only switched to the S7 because we had the phone laying around and My screen on the Note4 stopped working out of nowhere. I plan to move back to another Note4 as soon as possible. But for now I'm stuck with this S7. Any reason as to why my signal would be so poor on this particular device compared to my older Note4? Anything I can do about it?.
The indicator bars might be lower, but are the actual speeds your seeing any worse?
Speeds are decent.
I never did a speed test on the note 4 to compare with.
But this phone loads pages the same comparably when on 4g here in house.
Its gotta be what is killing my battery tho.
See thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s7/help/terrible-battery-life-comparison-to-t3542873
Battery life is Terrible. I'm on a mission to get that better right now because this will not work for me. I'm used to having 4 battery's and being able to use a separate Battery charger. Note 4 spoiled me with that and the IRblaster.
I cannot wait to go back.....

WTF is going on with my battery? I have the S7 Flat snapdragon version (G930v) running the G930u software unrooted which removes all carrier bloat. Screen brightness is set to a little past half way. I have all setting provided by stock software optimized for maximum battery life other than running AOD. I am running a black Wallpaper/Lockscreen/ and an All black theme from the Theme Engine.. I Repeat, I have all stock firmware options Optimized for battery. Every single one. Wth hell is going on here. My battery time is looking Rediculous in comparison. Someone help me out here.

I feel asleep around 3am I guess with 89% and woke up just now close to 11. Heres battery over that 8hr period. 5% during that time. Standby drain is not bad it seems. But only 10hrs on 100% is crazy low compared to what some of you guys are getting.
