I was wondering if there is a fix for the missing contacts letters in the indexbar at the right side.
I've updated my GT-I5800 first to I5800XXJPA and a little later to I5800XXJPB.
But it got the same issue as the sgs galaxy s.
I also have a galaxy s, for this phone there is an fix, by installing sgs tools.
I thought i give it a try and i downloaded the sgs tools on my GT-I5800.
Installed it and updated my contacts apk.
But when i opend the contacts it gave me a forse close.
Also after rebooting it gives an FC
I did the search before opening this thread.
Has someone the magic trick to solve this?

Dear Friends, this is my first post ever. Sorry for possible mistakes. Fact is that I have been using with satisfaction and successfully WDE (1.1 I suppose) to add cities to my HD for a while. Then I (stupidly) tryied to upgrade to the latest version (1.2) and it started malfunctioning. Cities that were not in the original list, but edited using WDE 1.2 showed insignificant data, no temperature values and no wheater condition of the moment. Exausting manouvers suggested here and there on the web to solve the problem proved to be unsuccessful, even trying to change the 2330cfg_manila properties in win. Uninstall is also very difficult unless a .cab from a german site is previously installed: WeatherDatabaseEditor_1_1_Meins.cab (1,22 MB, 5939x aufgerufen). Is anybody out there able to give me some hints to finally solve such a annoying problem? I'd really appreciate it!

recently I came across a bug in my Wm6.5.xx rom with htc sense.2.5.
when i try to add a program short-cut to the home-tab quick-links, Htc-Sense restarts ,but i can add contacts or bookmarks without any problems.
any suggestion are welcomed.

Anyhow, did you interchange any of the manila pkgs? Or using all the original pkgs together?
yup, it was a customized version for the rhodium.but NrgZ told that i must have the wrong version of icon-loader package in the rom.
im trying now.
I downloaded korean so I can read korean websites and be able write in korean....but I now noticed that the swype feature on the keypad is gone now!
is this normal?? can anyone help? Is it pretty much "I choose swype or Korean"?

Put a . into the ()
download and copy it to your SD card then download it ONTO your device from the installation options and then go to your start button all the way to the bottom and find it then click "swype" and ok or w.e the button is. then you got it back!

I'm gonna close this thread; links to swype cabs are considered warez. You can cook it into roms for devices that came with swype, but not distribute standalone cabs. I believe the above link was to a cab for swype; if not, pm me.

Hi guys, my brother noticed today on his phone that mini diary was missing, he didn't uninstall it or anything.
He has alot of very important information within the program and now he's freaking out because he relied mostly on this program. I know he should have written it down somewhere else too but how could he have know a program would just disappear.
I checked Titanium Backup and it shows no backup for mini diary with a slash through it meaning it's removed... but no idea by who.
I've got Darkys ROM and it worked while he was using the rom so it probably has nothing to do with this ROM at all, I mean he was using it last week and then today it was gone.
Just wondering if ANYONE would have an apk file or anything i can install for his Galaxy S, in the hope the information will still be there.. please!

anyone please can you upload the new swype?? here???? i can't install it via the official installer.. it gives me the problem there is a problem parsing this package.. tried several numerous times... but still failed!!! so can anyone please upload the new swype here???? i can't live it without my gf and the new swype!h hehehehehe plz!!!!!!!!!
Even if someone uploads it won't work cuz it needs to be licenced ..
you're getting the parsing error that means the download was incomplete ..
Try again it will work and make sure you don't do anything else on the phone till the download is completed..

ooh... i tried it like a hundred times! but still unable to install it ... i am also running on cm7 alpha 4... as yours! but still.. can't live without swype! gb keyboard is pain in ass...
I have it but only in English UK. You can search for other language versions on google and add them to it using Krillos' guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1143427) to installing languages to swype. Just be sure to look for the same version of swype when you do it .
