Hi all.
I have been using the phone for around 3months. I upgraded from Nokia E71. Here are some of my concerns.
1. On HTC HD, Opera mini 4.2 doesn't support flash menu on web sites. Why not? Nokia E71 had Opera mini 4.2 and it supports flash menu. I don't use Opera mobile because it's just too darn slow compare to mini.
2. Is there anyway I can turn off automatic pop up on virtual keyboards?
3. Is there any virtual keypads(up, down, left, right only) that stays always on top that I can orientate and position on the screen? I find having no Dpads on this phone pain in the butt, especially if you can't use stylus.
4. Is there anyway I can manually orientate screen? I would want to have it at fixed landscape for everything except when I use Phone functions and Garmin Mobile XT.

I have a Samsung Omnia Pro B7610, which is a fantastic machine, but it seems to be missing a few features which my old Touch pro had. But maybe it's me that's missing something! Perhaps someone knows...
I had the Touch Pro running on a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM - can't remember the name of it though. I'd disabled Touch FLo 3D and was using SPB Mobile Shell 3 as my UI - much better than anything else! I'm also using SPB Mobile Shell on the Omnia Pro B7610, and have disabled the Omnia's UI. The Omnia uses WinMo 6.5 (factory installed.) These are the features the Omnia Pro seems to be missing:
1) Keyboard shortcuts for cut, copy and paste. There's no control key so no shortcuts! Anyone know if I'm missing something?
2) Text messages displayed as conversations, not as individual texts. I can't find a setting to control that, but the Touch Pro displayed them as conversations, so I'd expect (and like) the Omnia to do so to, but it doesn't.
3) The items in the Media Player menus, especially the media library, are too close to each other to be selected by thumb-clicking. On the Touch Pro, after upgrading it to WM6.5 the items in the list were more spread out - double spaced perhaps - so they could be more easily selected.
If anyone can be bothered to read this post (!) and happens to know the answers I'm looking for, I'd be really grateful. Thanks!

This can be changed by almost any tweaker like Advanced Config 3.x or SMS Tweak (I don't have Omnia Pro yet so I assume it uses standard WM messaging)

My dell venue pro will not sync with windows phone 7 connecter for mac. So I launched vm ware fusion and installed the zune software and now it says no drivers... called dell support they said that no dell products work with apple? so i tried using my sony desktop with windows 7 ultimate and still no driver error called dell again and was told that the venue pro only works with dell computers? Any Ideas on how to get my computer to recognize my phone or download the drivers.

what did ms say? Isn't that sw still in beta...but they might give you some hints. Zune support probably won't help.
I called ms support and they tried some ways to download the drivers and they were not successful. Also called Zune support and they where very helpful but also was still unable to download the drivers. I thought I saw a post a while back with someone who had a similar issue.

don't think Zune could help, being PC not Mac based. There isn't a support link in the software for Mac?
Tried to sync my dvp with my dell desktop running windows 7 with the newest zune software and still saying missing drivers.
Went to the microsoft store and they replaced the phone. New Dell venue pro syncs with my mac thru windows connect and my pc.
does anyone know how to get the tablet ui of opera mobile on the streak? i have tried the build.prop from my xoom and it didn't work. any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been using my Apple Magic Mouse 1 with my new Fire Tablet. However, the scroll functionality is not working.
I know for use with Windows I had to download and install the Bootcamp drivers for Windows made by Apple, which allowed the scroll/touch functionality.
I was wondering if anyone had figured out a way to get the scroll to work?
I have looked into porting windows drivers to Android, but that task is looking to be near-impossible. I also know that the scroll functionality works with some Android devices such as the Galaxy Tab. So I'm just wondering what's missing here and what can I do to figure this out. I am a computer programmer and I know there must be a way.
