no.... you don't know what you're looking at, i think. maybe I should change the thread title to make it more clear.
does that mean koush is pulling repos from the atrix code and merging it with the CM repos..? i dont know much of Devving and Git.. except the obvious storage/branches holding programming code for the teams to compile.
Merge away, Koush! Merge away... Good find OP. Intriguing at a minimum.

Yeah read something about Atrix cm team getting it to the nightlies then turning it over to official team.

Sorry guys, I tried using it for 2 weeks and just couldn't take it. I built a working recovery and was done. I went out and bought a Nexus S.
Personally, I believe if you guys want hardware that has fantastic open source software support, you need to buy hardware that supports open source software. Vote with your money and buy dev phones (ie Nexus S). Eventually companies will catch on.

the only people that will merge to cm gits will be the atrix dev team, koush is only participating of collaboration, he is using our better atrix build to make a better cwm!
Lol, i forgot to tell, it have the atrix gb tree, but nothing is in there, id sent the wrong link =/
Samcripp, the camera app looks that is not using hw acceleration, what about if you add in it a line to enable hw acceleration, i did that in an app from dext and it worked.
(any chance somebody from the team work on WebTop and FingerPrint scanner working on CM7?)

Edit:" android:hardwareAccelerated="true" in your manifest element's <application> element or for individual <activity> elements." Worked with me for dext, i didnt tried yet for atrix, but if you want...

Well... we've got updates from 2.1 to 2.3.6 and i think we should be happy with that. We will see official Android 4.0 on SGS when Arnold Schwarzenegger is president of the united states.

Doesn't hurt to try, we're almost at 7000 btw.
I'd rather petition for AOSP roms since touch wiz is definitely a drawback. But any kind of ROM will help our great modders to make a great AOSP version

Actually, not really. These sources have been available from the start; these packages are GPL licenced, so they HAVE to be released. This isn't too much of a help.

I disagree. For newb's like me who go back & forth between the two OS's its very helpful.
I will admit to spending the majority of my Touchpad time to android though.

I'm really curios. How does having source code help a self proclaimed newb? That's an oxymoron. By definition, a newb doesn't possess the knowledge to compile source code.

Doesn't CM10.1 support accelerometer then? That's all that's needed to support the motion control, along with some regular userspace development, and I thought that was available.
More likely is that the CM developers just aren't interested in adding these features right now.
Also, I don't expect that Samsung will ever release the TouchWiz source and documentation (which I would expect to be the location of these features), even if the chipset source and docs are released

Samsung home

Its possible to bypass or do with Lucky Patcher to install official Samsung Home experanse on Aops android?
I wouldnt mention lucky patcher here on XDA.
Its viewed as a scumbags app around here and completely against XDA rules.
Its a piece of software designed to screw over developers and this site is called XDA developers so not a good idea
And also @paphonb is creating a port of Samsung home so it will be available for all devices
