Email Attachments? - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hello Guys,
I have tested so many different Android builds, but one that I like the most was, in which gave me the ability to attach live Camera Pictures, Video and even voice to my emails....I was able to hit attach, and hit the camera take a live picture, or even record a short video, and even a voice note, and was able to send it directly....
Anyone know if that was the build, or actually an add-on software...Hope someone help caz I really liked that option, sometime I was driving, and I was able to recorde a note and email it, so I didn't have to write anything, or take some live picture for my girlfriend to show her that I was actually on the way, or things in that matter...
you can PM me, if you know the build or software...
Thanks a lot.
Edit found the solution, don't use the gmail created by the phone, use the stmp mail or something how do I close this thread?

Can anyone advise on Voice software

Hi I was wondering if there was a piece of software that will read out my emails when driving and indeed let me reply via my voice.
I have seen a couple of suggestions that this is possible and as I spend most of my time on the road it would help greatly.
Is there such a piece of software.
Thanks in advance
I had been looking for exactly the same thing. Finally I installed it last week and tried it. I find it useful.
Fonix speech is probably the best I have come across. And does the job quite well.
Features:
1. Can assign a hardware button to start it.
2. Then it can read your outlook emails. You can also use voice instructiomns to start an applicvation (e.g. gps), dial a phone number, have the calendar appointements read to you, have the tasks read to you.
3. You can read emails, delete them or skip them (after it has read the header). The emails read to you are quite accurate (some pronounciations may be funny
4. You can reply to an emai, but it records your response in an attachment (.wav file) which iy them sends it by email. Not the best way to respond to your work emails (atleast not yet). So to restate, the replies are not converted to text.
Let me know if you need any help.

MMS cab for wing

what MMS service do you guys use on your t-mobile wing? I dont know what i have on my phone but everything works fine (i can send and recieve them) except when i go to open them i dont see pics, videos dont works, and i get no sound. Pic files act like they are playing a 5 second sound clip. its really weird. anyways if anyone has a tip on a new one to use, that doesnt turn my SMS into a email like set up (i had used one before that did this and it was very annoying so i unistaled it which gave me this problem) i would appreciate it.

If you can send and recieve MMS' then it is very possible that the problem is with who is sending you the MMS'. I have someone i work with and every time they send me a text it comes through as an MMS even tho it is a simple text without pics or sound. It may just be the person sending it to you.
my wife used to be able to send me pics before on another rom but now her pics are the same as everyone else
Try reflashing. *shrugg*
My fiancee had a problem with her cell phone doing something SOMEWHAT similar, and it took changing her phone number (purging their systems of all the configuration data) to get it working again.

Voice Mail App?

Hi All,
I don't know if this as been posted before, i couldn't find it if it was.
I'm looking for an app which will take voice mail and record it right on the phone when i miss a call. I've seen it for S60 phones but never for WinMo. I've been looking for almost a year off and on but have never found anything near what i want. If anyone has seen it send me the name please, it would be a great time saver.

Grandcentral?
I don't know if you'd be interested in all that it entails but check out http://www.grandcentral.com as a possible solution. It's not exactly what you're after but may work out for you....
Hey, thanks for the link. I think i may have found what i'm looking for! I have not tested or installed this yet, i'm at work. I'll be installing it over dinner and putting it to the test. Heres the link:

I've been using Callwave: http://www.callwave.com/landing/mobileVisualVoicemail.aspx?r=NONE
Again, it's not exactly what you said, but you can set it to send you and email with attachment which you can save to your phone.
I was using SimulScribe/SimulSays, but their customer service is atrocious. So bad that at one point the CEO emailed me to apologize for how I was treated after reading the email exchanges only to ignore my response email asking if my lost voicemails could be recovered. I guess the answer was no.
The other nice thing about Callwave is that it will transcribe your voicemail (good for reading messages while you're in meetings). I don't know if that's free longterm however.
i'll be interested to hear how the isecretary worked out...
HI,
I haven't had a chance to really test it out yet, I've been super busy. I did test it when i first downloaded it and i think it may have deleted all of my contact #'s. Not sure it was the program or something i did as messing with my phone seems to be my new habit. At present i can record a message from an incoming call but i'm having trouble getting the greeting to play. Adjusting the settings may be all thats needed but i don't have the time to do it yet. If i get it under control i'll post what i did to get it to work.

Deleting Emails the same as Deleting SMS

Is there a possible regedit, which could allow us to delete emails in the preview mode (the same way we can delete, forward, or reply in the preview mode of SMS text messages)? It would be nice if we didn't have to open every single email in order to delete it. Anyone have a workaround for eliminating this extra step? Thanks if you've got one to share.
I would also like to know this. A way of marking an email as read from the preview would be helpful too.
Thirded.
This would be awesome.
Yeah! I would also like this.
Been asked before, but yes I would like this too!! Having to open an email to have it marked as read is annoying when you have quite a few that you dont actually need to read in detail there and then!!
I'm interested also
Still no clue ?
Anything on this yet ?

Email tab and contact photos

I've watched some hd2 videos on youtube, about feautures and that...and there are contact photos on email tab. There is sender's email and next to that his face.
Well, I don't have any photo here, only after tapping email and opening it with outlook, I see photo of the sender.
Is there any option to toggle that photo on or off, is this only in some roms, or why I don't have this?
Thanks for answers
Did you try to add any contacts in the people tab?
Once you tap "Add fav.", you can select any contact from the popup.
If you added pictures to your contacts, you will see them, too.
The most of my contact's have photo attacked.
It works when they call me, it works with sms and mms, it works if email is opened with outlook, it works on people tab...everything works...only on email tab I don't have photo...
But I can't find any info if this is an added feature in new roms or is in every rom and it just doesn't work for me...?
Not seen it on any rom i've tried. But then the email tab is only a preview, it hasn't 'opened' the email.
For example here at 3:20
