Where is the equal sign "="???? - Quantum General

Where is the equal sign "="????
Not on the Keyboard or the on-screen keyboard...

Open the keyboard, press the symbol key, and hit the right arrow on the bottom of the on screen keyboard, and the equals key will be on the bottom row.

Where are these simbol: "!", "@"....

Sorry for the stuoid question but... I can't find the symbols ("!", "@" ecc...) on the keyboard of my Jam...
Tap on "Shift" on the keyboard, and enjoy it.
I find the "!" but I can't find all the "standard symbols".... for example the "@"!!
Sorry, probably I'm still sleeping today!
Come on Markino, Its beside the "!" symbol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well actually, on my keyboard the @ symbol is 2 spaces to the left of te space bar. Either way, it's there! Other symbols are found by either tapping "Shift" or the button in the top left corner with "123". Not really hard to work out.

How do I type '£'?!

Easy question...
For the life of me, I can't fathom out how to enter a £ symbol using the hardware keyboard, the 'soft' keyboard or the transcriber.
Can anyone help?
How much time/effort did you put to solve this problem, huh?
For soft keyboard, just click on the '123' on the top left will give you a number and symbol keyboard with £ around.
For transcribe, you just draw the £ normally. If you have problem how the symbol is drawn, click on the second-from-the-left button at the bottom, click on the right-arrow to locate the £ symbol. At the top, tap on the picture for it to show you how to draw them.
Excellent thanks v much!
It's amazing what you forget after 2 or 3 weeks sans-Wizard on holiday!!
Just need to work out how to do similar with the keyboard now, but at least I have a workaround!
double tap the red dot to put on symbol lock, tap g, then tap the space bar twice. double tap the red dot again to take symbol lock off.

8125 - entering symbols other than using the shift key

Has anyone been able to activate the symbols menu from the keypad that appears on the space bar key? It would be nice to enter a back slash without opening the onscreen keyboard.
Thanks in advance.

Click to collapse
Explain, please.
Do you mean without opening the sliding hardware keyboard? You said "onscreen"; I think you mean with the onscreen keyboard.
on the hardware keyboard there is no backslash, so you have to use the software keyboard. I too didn't find a way to easily enter some "symbol" mode...
if you type the forward slash and still have the unit in symbol mode and hit space, it will change it to a back slash and then cycle through more symbols if you continue to hit space in symbol mode.
I thought of something like that... The only problem with that technique is, that you don't know which symbol is on which key (/\ is quite obvious of course ). Much nicher would be some table that pops up with symbols and you can chose there (communicator had that)
symbol mode
if you type the forward slash and still have the unit in symbol mode and hit space, it will change it to a back slash and then cycle through more symbols if you continue to hit space in symbol mode.
How do you get it into symbol mode once you slide open the keyboard? Typed forward slash then hit space and it moved forward. Just want to type a backslash without opening the onscreen keyboard.
Thanks in advance.
Hold the Button with the red dot while typing space bar. As with the whole keyboard, the red dot button accesses the red labels of the keys... so the "Sym" is written in red on the space bar, abviously this means it's accessed the same way.
Didn't work the first time. Got it now. Tyvm.

Can't fine "-" on the keyboard

where is it????
either "?123" or "?123" then Alt. just to the right of the middle, in the second row down
on the standard keyboard?? you press the button on the bottom left of the keyboard with the globe and the number 12 next to it.... the "-" is in the middle of the bottom row.
Thanks a lot guys.
I don't how to switch Android keyboard and standard keyboard. In fact I don't know which one i am using.
But I found the - key. I need to press "123", then double click the face-icon next to 123. There are many symbles there, I got - in the list.
Long press on the text input box and it brings up an option to select "input method".. you can choose your kbd in there...

Keeping alt and Shift key pressed on custom physical keyboard

I use Parboti Keyboard and/or MultiLing O Keyboard to type Bangla. As we have more letters than 26 we need to often press the shift key to type those letters. When I select Blackberry Keyboard (English) and slide open the physical keyboard, I don't have to press Shift and 'a' at the same time to get A. It is as if the Shift key is kept pressed once I press it. I want the same effect on my custome keyboard layout on Parboti or Multiling.
Please guide me someone. Thanks.
