Try to reinstall your ROM. I might help ... I guess. I have no problem with my HD2 after upgrading to a new ROM.

yeah that was no good...
still not 100%

Did you have removed HSPL?
HSPL and stock ROM 3.14 isn't compatible!

refresh me on where to check that and how to fix/remove if i do?

My understanding is the official ROM flash will automatically remove HSPL and replace it with the official SPL. No need to do anything, just flash the ROM. And the official ROM includes a radio. The current radio will be overwritten with the ROM radio.

CMIIW just want to add, it's must be done by flashing via SD card, to get SPL overwritten, isn't it?

okay well it was flashed from official HTC release.
don't know why it has problems..

Hmm, it's not recommended to use any HSPL on 3.14 ROM. You had to uninstalled it then return (restore to stock SPL) to 1.42.000 and then continue flashing your 3.14 correct country ID ROM.

how do i do all that?

restore ROM version 1.66.707.1
Hi guys,
is it possible to restore ROM version 1.66.707.1 from my updated ROM version 3.14.707.3 ?

Did you tried to flash the 1.66 rom over the 3.14?

yes I tired, but the process will fail, think its because HTC auto disabled it ..

anybody ????

It does if you flash from your SD card.
Maybe task29 your phone first would help!

Yes it can, but make sure ROM You're using should be your default carrier ROM.
Just flash trough SD card, extract .exe file, rename RUU_signed.nbh to LEOIMG.nbh, put it on root directory of your SD Card, then enter bootloader, follow all neeeded steps.

There is no need to downgrade to RC29.
Install the newest radio FIRST, then install Haykuro's SPL, then install whatever ROM.
Furthermore, boot into your SPL first and check your board version. DVT's are known for bricking with H's SPL.

Please Help

I flashed a cooked ROM using the SPL method and now my phone is stuck at the white screen with HTC in the middle. I cannot perform a hard reset and Im unable to reinstall original ROM thru the SD card method. Please help me
Which rom did you use. Most of the new 2.10 based cooked roms require radio 2.08 to boot up. Put the phone into bootloader and flash the new radio.
If you pull the radio out you should be able to then do a hard reset as well as flash via sd card.

If you're using hspl, (the only way you can flash a new radio) then with phone in bootloader, insert usb and when usb appears on screen flash the same way as for a rom.
When I flashed the ROM earlier, I used this method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=606713
So now i have to install hspl?

Yes, sspl doesn't allow you to change the radio and you need the newer radio for these latest roms.

Thx guys..my new ROM is up and running. Phew
Closing this as you have a number of threads on the same subject. Please keep it all in one thread; easier to help you that way.
Glad you got it up and running.

Does updating official Rom void warranty?

This is probably a stupid question, . I do not use HSPL2 or other tricks. Just simply update to higher version with the newer Rom downloaded from the official website according to my device ID.
no it wont

Thanks.
So I can play around with HSPL2 to flash any compatible Rom and if anything goes wrong then I can simply re-flash Stock Rom of higher version than the original one. But I still get the warranty. Am I right, ?
yeah as long as you do these two things.
go back to stock spl after removing hspl then reflash a stock tmous rom

**Please Read & Help** BACK TO STOCK ROM

First of all, thank you for reading. I am currently trying to revert everything back to stock for RMA purposes. I've tried installing new ROMs to see if it would fix my issues and it has not. Now, for warranty purposes, I need to send it back with the stock ROM loaded. I just want to make sure I don't brick my phone and wanted to know the procedures to take according to my versions I have installed.

But I haven't done anything with it yet.
I'm sorry if this sounds pushy, but can someone give me a check list in order of the things I need to download and how to revert my phone back to stock?
Thank you very much!!!! Love XDA!

Add: If i want to flash original rom it went wrong : the image is corrupted i dont understand why ?
Try to flash a Stockrom via SD, this should reflash a Stock SPL. After that try hspl again
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
3.03 is uncompatible with many roms. Flash again 2.08 with HSPL4 from bootloader, it your HD 2 is Unbranded you should not have problem to flash Cotulla. Later remember to flash the Radio. I will post the right hspl for you later, maybe your files are compromised.
