I have seen a widget on some custom roms like Modaco R9 and Lambros. The widget is by HTC it's the "call mom" widget. Apparently it was released for other HTC sense devices but not officially on the Desire.
I have seen an app on the market but it doesn't work on the desire I am running the AuraxTsense 8.0 ROM.
i also tried to extract the .apk from the pre-baked rom Lambros and to run it on my desire but it refused to install, after it asks for permissions it gives me message "app not installed"
I wonder if anyone has managed to install this widget without loading the pre-baked roms, I prefer my current rom and don't want to change it just for this widget.

I tried them as well but this widget "call mom" as well as some of the others (fake call) does not work neither, could there be an issue with AuraxTsense specifically? I had this widget working fine on Modaco's R9

The market seems incomplete, I cant find anything!! I only found a solution for android 1.6/2.1 to display all the apps.

So, well, for some reason or other, EMail apps and Exchange sync seems to be missing from Swiftdroid although both CM7 and Gingerbread seems to have it. So, well, anyone can rip off the relevant installable apks off and share it with us?

I am looking for the official ICS beta ROM to install on this device but unfortunatly I can't find it. Every article or tutorial that I find links to the official Sony release but it seems they deleted the file from their servers...
Does anyone have it on whatever FTP or hard drive ?
