Have you looked through the CM settings? You might want to also try spare parts, available in the market if you don't already have it. It gives you the option to turn off haptic feedback, altough you'll also loose haptic feedback in other function as well. Just a thought.
I was wondering the same thing. Its starting to get annoying.

Vibrations...

Hello you all
i got my trophy today and i was wondering if there is any option to disable the vibration for the "physicale" keys.. or i better say.. for the 3 touch keys (back, home, search) if its possible to disable it please tell me how, thats the only ugly thing if noticed ^^
thanks for help!
I haven't heard of a way to disable the vibrations yet, but there might be a tweak sooner or later. You can turn off vibrations completely if you want though.
I don't know. I know you can disable the search button from doing anything, but the button still causes the motor inside to activate.
Actually I've just stumbled upon a solution. It looks like it works, but I haven't tried it.
Disable haptic feedback

[Q] Back key pressing by itself

Good day everyone!
I am having problem with the back key of my S4. Sometimes when I press the '.' key it automatically presses the back key, so when typing an SMS, it hides the keyboard when typing, which is kinda annoying. And the frustrating thing is that the backlight of the soft keys isn't turned on, which does when you press one of the soft keys. Anyone lese having the problem? A solution, perhaps?
Regards.
Help please........

Thanks for your reply, I know how to enable backlighting of sof keys, but what I wanted to say was that this happens only when the unintentional back key is pressed, the backlighting is normal when I actually press the back key.
Hi rat. Thank god I found someone that has the same issue, I also bought a SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 GT19500. and Yes I have been having this issue for 2days now. The TWO SOFT keys( Menu and Back), started to AUTO PRESS! I cant even text on my phone, but somehow when the issue disappears when I went to work @ work yesterday. So i thought the issue is just some glitch as I have not experienced it when using the phone for the whole week. Now the issue reappeared again I am upset, Please if you are able to find some workaround to permanently fixed this. Please message me here or please email me @Lovelo[email protected] Thank you very much. I will wait for your reply. Thanks!
I have the same kind of issues with Sony xperia z tablet. My suspicion was that it's reaction to some movement - but sometimes it does this when laying absolutely still. Os is 4.3 just updated and this bug was before and after the update. Most trouble is press of a back button - I mean mostly that))) but once it just started to type random things in search line.... Paranormal f...ing activity altogether...

[Q] Vibration / Haptic Feedback problem

Anybody help, please!
After flashing lollipop_theme_enabler via recovery and applying a theme, I've faced some strange missbehaviour from my G900F. It lost haptic feedback (no vibration) for back and recent keys, also samsung keyboard has no vibro at all. In addition pattern unlock now vibrates on every dot like it used to only for incorrect pattern. All the checkboxes and sliders (lockscreen, power saving, sound, notification, keyboard, accessability settings etc.) were carefully examined and had no effect on the described sympthoms.
Does anyone here knows how to fix the vibration problem?
PS Another little thing which makes me sad a bit is home button, for some reason I now have to push it twice to get to home screen.
