Trophy and outlook - Trophy General

Hello friends,
i got mine Trophy today, and i want to know how i copy my outlook contacts to Trophy?
Regards

sorry, but you can't do it directly,
but you can syncronize your outlook with a windows live acount or with gmail.
after that, the phone syncronizes with the acount and that's it

Thanks, i did that, is the only way...
Dont like very much this method, the older one was better.
Regards

yes... i don´t like'it but it seems is the only way for now.
Everybody talk's about an upgrade in January. I hope it will bring more good things than bad.

hope so..
Regards

Request: Windows Contacts to Diamond

Hi guys!
I know it´s a freaking funny question, but: How difficult would it be to create a software that synchronizes the Windows Contacts with your Diamond?
I remember the easy life with my wifes I Phone: Plug in, Synchronize and DONE!
Now due to my trouble with Microsoft Outlook (it just crashed and can not be reinstalled so far!?) all my Contacts got lost after using Active Snyc... (my bad, i know )
How stupid can Microsoft be, to expect everybody having f..... Outlook?
Would be nice to hear any suggestions or EVEN a guy who´s eager to program that usefull thingy
Have a nice day,
Seco

there's also the microsoft myphone service (so far free)... haven't tried it - but i believe it's a great concept of having online backup of contacts & calendar, etc...
I've got all my contacts synced between the Diamond, my PC's Outlook and GMail contacts, by just using active sync. I also do periodic backups with PIMBackup just in case something bad happens and I lost any or all of them after a bad sync...

Windows Live Email Sync Limit

Hello all,
I'm currently using windows live to sync my hotmail account with the phone but it's frustrating me that I can only access the last 50 emails... I had a program on iPhone that downloaded all the emails and made them searchable which is a massive plus for me.
Is it possible to increase the limit from 50 emails per folder? I want it to sync everything up to all 1000 emails in my account if it's possible. I'm guessing a registry hack might work but I've never really tried that before.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
David
Just wondering if anyone has any idea on this issue...
damn this is an old topic but anyway i am wondering the same thing and i couldnt find the awnser by searching...
any help would be verry much apreciated!
i think no one uses hotmail anymore... i like my hotmail adress... but i was forced to go to gmail... just because hotmail is buggy (EVEN ON THEIR OWN DEVICE) and limited... i think it is limited because they also have a paid acoount posibility... so they do not want to loose that profit...

Offline Sync with Outlook via Samsung PC Studio

Hey Guys,
I´m planning to buy a Galaxy S, but there is one question:
Is it possible to offline Sync with Outlook via Samsung PC Studio??
In my opinion this is a k.o.-criteria- syncing from outlook to gmail and then to the phone is imho a work around and no solution.
If it´s not possible I probably will stay with HTC and get a Desire and use HTC Sync.
Thank you for answers - Cheers!
First post for me ever, since 2008
As the online user guide suggests, it uses Samsung Kies, which do sync with Outlook in other phones like the wave, but wasn't mention specifically for the Galaxy S, although I think it would..

Regards,
i have done a sync with samsung KIES.. however if u group your contacts, this field will not be shown on the phone itself.. u have to regroup yout contact into their respective catergories.. other that that it syncs pretty well.. heck it event sync my calendar perfectly
wow- this sounds great, groups are not that important for me! although Kies is a strange name for me. In German Kies means gravel/ grit/ shingle
thanks for your quick replies!

in dutch is't a molar strange name indeed
In fact, it can even stand for "money" in German - maybe because you have to dish out some to Samsung before you can make any use of this software?

[Q] [q] Changing email acount!

after being fed up with marketplace being unavailable in greece, i decided to ccreate a US hotmail to use with my phone. thing is, although i got the phone to synchronise pretty much everything from my primary hotmail account, xbox live still syncs with the new one. so, is there a way to change the e-mail from which the phone gets its xbox live info from? i dunno, from the registry or something?? and on a completely different subject, since i reinstalled wp7 is there a way to batch install all my XAPs? thanks in advance!

If it were me i would sync all my contacts in to outlook, setup a live or gmail account and import them all from outlook, either by using the outlook connector or by exporting them all to a CVS or something, live and gmail provide a way of importing these files , when you setup WP7 you just sync the live/gmail account and bobs your uncle
as for SMS, i think your out of luck im afraid, if you want to back them up and still have access to them i would suggest using Microsoft My Phone, that will allow you to transfer all your SMSs to an online backup utility, you can then just connect to it on your phone to look at them, but there is no way of transfering them to your phone....at the moment anyway
you'd think Ms would make it easy for users to upgrade from wm6.5 to 7!
thanks for the procedure i'll try that way.
i currently use Myphone, sux its not wp7 compatible

i cant find it now but on one of the many MS blogs out there i read that the My Phone team are making a new version with WP7 in mind, dont know if its true, and i cant find the link, i stumbled on it a while back by mistake, but anyhow, it stands to reason that they will have something like that at some point, perhaps they are waiting for Mango which already has several large changes over NoDo, who knows! just need to wait and see
yeah there were a few rumurs a while back
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13973440&postcount=6
but nothing recently. only things im missing is the call recording feature and MyPhone, but at the moment i'm having to get live without each.
I hope Mango has Myphone, it was one of the best services (if not THE best service) that MS had for WM.
