benchmarking - XPERIA X8 General

Share your benchmarking scores here. Using quadrant standard(found on the market). I scored 389 using adw launcher. Thought id try the normal sony ui and scored 440 so wont be using adw anymore not until 2.1 update at least.
sony 440
adw 389

Hehe thats odd :/ I get 440 with adw but I have stripped all the sony ericsson guff and tweaked settings in adw

sony 2.1 - 463

adw 2.1 - 471

LauncherPro - 457

What do these scores show? It just creates a ranking? Out of what?

With jit: linpack: 7,560, quadrant : 510-520. But I don't see better performance, just in benchmarks.

Low Linpack score

hi guys!
I install floyo 0.20 ROM and after run linpack - the score is about 4.4 MFlops with JIT enabled and about 1.5 - 2.0 MFlops with JIT disabled. I expect that score will be above 7 MFlops.
So the question is - what eating my CPU - or how can I check what happened with my phone ?
Use gingerbread it has got more than 9 mflops

Same with me

It doesn't like 806MHz.

Just done some benchmarking with my X8 and thought I'd try with the CPU set to 806MHz with smartass-v2. It didn't like it at all, the phone froze and I had the red light on.... oops! Its ok though restored from nandroid so back to 729MHz and stable I think. Has anyone managed to get their X8 to work with the CPU set to 806MHz?

Yes NaA kernel, I will flash alf's and see how it handles thanks
I got my x8 running 806Mhz for short time with alfs v006. I was able to benchmark it with Quadrand (1503) but it frozen on Antutu. And phones battery heats up pretty fast
i dont like overcolck just make swap and make morE ram will be more faster
i like both

How is that possible to have stable 806 MHz? I tried both kernels and Ive got red LED in both case. Now using alfs with 748Mhz stable
i tried it with Stock, nAa and alfs, stable at 729Mhz but not above
don't think it's possible to be stable at 806Mhz
at 748Mhz stable a while but sometimes freezes
I think that OVERCLOCKING depends on your device like with PC OC - someone can get better (higher) frequency on same model. My X8 reboots on 729MHz.
lolxzz...i think m so lucky

with gdx + alfs, my x8 can overclocked up to 768 Mhz.. Nicee..
with nAa kernel 724 Mhz faill!!..

+1 these reason make me like alfs kernel

Alfasamsung and nAa are using different OC methods, looks like Alfs is more stable

alfs kernel ftw!
I have 3 x8s and overclock works best with alfs for me. 729mhz seems the best for performance and battery on 3 devices. 1 x8 will stay stable over 800mhz but the other 2 freeze. For testing overclock don't "set at boot" until you find a stable frequency. It saves restoring everytime

i have stable 729mhz
Mine got stable at 787 MHz. No option for higher frequencies in alfs v05 uncapped Do you get options for 800's on v06 guys?

Quadrant is overrated, use antutu. It's harder to cheat a score on antutu
Thanks for the info mate.... But i'm actually searching for a better optimization OC setting for my xperia play phone like less battery drain, less lag, etc.... B-)

Edit : sd test not working after update to antutu v2.6.... That's why i'm uninstall them & only using quadrant right now, many thanks....

Latest Quadrant scores are low only.
I get 1250 w/o any tweaks and no overclock.
