How do I change the account name of an Exchange Account? I can see that if you go into settings on a normal (pop/imap) account you can change the account name... but the option doesn't seem to exist for Exchange accounts.

Hi,
I would like to delete an Email account but I don't find it in my settings (Messaging - select an account) ; I know that it exists because when I try to setup a new Email account, I am receiving the message " This Email account exists already).
I don't know where are the settings for Email accounts. I have searched in the registry but haven't found it.

I have added one of my Hotmail accounts, my job mail and my Gmail, but when I try to add my second Hotmail account, I enter the email address and password and then I'm suddenly sent to my live.com account in the browser.
Hope someone knows what I mean and can help me.

dont put the correct address at the start of the wizard, use notmail.com or something, that way it doesnt get recognised as a hotmail account. Fill in all the rest of the details, save the account, and then edit it to correct the address.

I am trying to grab the contacts from our corporate exchange server (or to sync them in a separate address book. Note I only want to download, not upload my local contacts).
In the 'contacts' app I can go to 'account' and there I have an option to add a 'corporate' account, which says it's exchange.
All it asks is my email address and password, there is noway to specify the exchange server's name/IP etc.
On pressing 'Next' I get a username/password error.
Is this the proper way to do this, or is there another/better solution?
just go to email app and add the exchange acct there. It will only sync the contacts from that store (i.e seperate db for each acct)
I recently added an exchange email account to my android phone and I know I don't have it set as my primary strictly for email. The problem I have though is when I try and save new contacts, android always tries to save them under my exchange account so I always have to manually change it from exchange to google. Anyone have any ideas on how I can change this to make my google account appear first? Thanks
This should be pretty simple as I've done it before but I can't figure it out. I want to set the default email account for the phone. Used to be you went into the email app and then under settings you could set the default email account but I no longer see this option. I have four email accounts registered and want to change the current default email account to another account. I want to do this in the stock email app. Running 4.4.2.

The option to set the default email account used to be right below the "Quick responses" option in the attached jpg. Where did it go? Anybody?
Still haven't figured this out. Anyone?
