im having fun with my LEO and build 23146, all is working fine but not Save to Sim app.
Basically my problem is that when i want to save a contact to sim i got "0 contact has been saved" and if i check into sim i see a lot of name with that number:
U/M 0123456
UC/M 0123456
UCM/M 0123456
and so on..
OEM Drivers are from LEO 3.14
WM build as i said is 23146
Language Italian
in addiction i have Phone canvas fixed and dialpad fix.
Anyone has this bug or know how to fix it?
Im pretty sure that is something in 23146 because i dont remember to have had this bug with 23916.

Solved: Did copy siminit.dll,simsec.dll,ccoredrv.dll from 21913...i did not experiment one by one ,ive just used all of three.
Hello af974, have you cooked in the package "SIM_Mgr"? But I think that you have, otherwise you couldn't start the Export tool.

thanks for the reply,yes i have SIM_Mgr cooked in ,i always prefered to cook for a classic wm 6.5 build and this error occurred when i did jump on wm 6.5.x ...strange though but i will try to leave all the 6.5.x fixes and see if one of them,maybe, goes in conflict with the sim manager app.

Hi mate,
You are cooking with 3,14/Oboe mixed EXT packages right?
Some of the packages are dual sim and that's the problem I think.

Nono, I taught you had contactmanager or simmanager from Oboe, sorry.
It must be something else if that's the only thing your using from Oboe.

i mate,i have seem problem only with build 2314x
i think depende from some fix for this build...
i'm investigating, but I can not figure out where is exactly the problem
if you try to import all contacts work well,but don't work only one
I gave a try to exclude all the 6.5.x fixes but the problem occured again,anyway im went back to 21913 ,if one day i will find a fix ill post the solution here.

I have no problems with Save to SIM or with SIM Manager on 2314x - everything's working fine on all last builds of the branch. The same Leo, the same drivers. Canvas fixed.

I did not try to cook this rom with 0409 language,maybe the problem is located in Lang pack......lol using my 0410 from 23913.

Yes i thought do and unfortunately i didnt find 0410 lang pack for 2314x......now i have find them and i will try asap.

I meant I already created a WM6.1 rom for it... it is not a ship rom. But I'm pretty sure if HTC would create it, it would look almost the same, cos I completely recreated the XIP section based on the Kaiser WM6.1 rom, updated the boot.rgu changes and also driver changes related to WM6.1.
It is completely stable until now and much faster.

Sure, but you would have to create the nbh file from a nb image... is that ok for you?

Can anyone please dump a XDA Orbit 2 UK Rom. Just in case it needs to be sent back for repair, as an uploaded Rom would render the warranty Void.

It took me 3 days of preparing the XIP section and after I've got the device it took me more than 5 hours to really get it working (and I was the one who made Xipport.exe). There is no how to, you need to use mreloc to move all the XIP modules around to make space for the new dll's.
Better way, but much more complicated is to start with an empty XIP and add one module after another, this way it is almost perfect.
Let me add some more stuff and I'll release a beta, but right now I'm busy with getting the video drivers a bit faster. Scrolling is a mess with this device (compared with other devices with the same processor)

i have a problem with all the latest xt9 packages
when i use it and save words its safed in the memory
butt hen when i make a soft reset it has forgotten all words that i added
do you have the same problem or does anybody know a way to fix it

You need to make sure NOT to cook in the database files that it uses, otherwise they become "ready only" and the device can't overwrite them to save new words in them. I believe both of them have an .adb extension. I might be mistaken though, someone correct me please.

As far as I have knowledge, I'm having issues with 6.5.5 because you need to handle with 2 main problems:
- Some Toshiba Packages are Windows 6.5 modified versions. With 6.5.5 you have to choose, to keep them branding a 6.5.5/6.5.0 fusion or use full 6.5.5, and be aware of bugs in any case.
- We need to xip-port from another device, and that's not as easy as may seem.
At the end, we have many, MANY!, non bootable ROM's until we get something bootable (that doesn't necesarly means usable). So, that's a hard and long try-error work with many, MANY, ROM builds. Most of the ROM's I've posted worked fine on first try. I needed 9 trys to get UK rom working deleting a lot of files (thats why my manila version doesn't seem to have any ROM penality), but with 6.5.5 I've done 10-12 trys, any of them booted. l3v5y had more succes on this issue, and I don't know what happened with hdubbli and his 6.5.5 build.

another thing which would be create is the new energy rom which is available on the HTC HD2
this would great if you could included this in the new Rom

I agree with using 2.13 as thats the version I use. I tried using newer but it didnt work for my touch pro rom.

back key=back to previous
End Key= end call

I didn't add any app that crash this

If you didnt add any external app and you didnt touch any registry files then i dunno what to say, maybe its a kitchen problem, i really dont know how OsKitchen works.

I dont suggest any Kitchen,it is a personal taste, and i respect every developers work.

I use OsKitchen too but the problem continued ....
I think it should be a problem in XIP and SYS package
I tested many roms from every cooker but most of them have this problem , it should be a reg fix for it
I'm using OS Kitchen v1.31 now. Before that, I use v1.30v3. No such problem of back button or end key.
I cook Topaz and Rhodium roms.
I'll suggest that you start building up your kitchen from scratch. It is likely that you might have messed up in your kitchen that is causing this problem.
