As above really. I have an unlocked Orange M700/Trinity and when I put my 3 SIM in it works when in 3G coverage but not in 2G. I presume this is something to do with it handing over to the Orange network for the 2G signal. I fancy buying the Touch Plus but it's only worth it if I can use it on 3 once unlocked.

I use the HTC Touch Dual without any problems on the 3UK network. The only problem I have though is that the data connection seems a bit flakey when it drops down onto 2G (i.e. roaming onto Orange). Therefore I keep it locked to 3G only.
Hi I have the unlocked version of the treo pro and i was wondering if the internet service will work with the pro? and should i get a 3g sim card?

Your question is so --- basic, that I am not sure I understand it. Why would internet NOT work on your device?
What T-mo are you talking about? In the Netherlands (and elsewhere in Europe) the Pro runs on T-mo 3G. I just returned from the US and there I got Edge only (I think the Pro does not support T-mo USA's 3G band).

I have the UK model. I have it for three days in the USA and I use the AT&T sim card. It connects on EDGE and it is not a 3g phone in the USA. I use WIFI for my internet.
My question is: How can I get the phone to stop looking for a GPRS connection and giving me the error screen? I understand there is a loop of connectivity GPRS => EDGE => 3g and when 3g is not compatible it connects on edge.
Ok fine. But how can I get rid of that GPRS connection error screen?

I own a 32B HTC Magic (from Vodafone Germany), and have been able to use my Virgin Mobile (Australia) SIM card, but have only 1 issue, I can't seem to get 3G working.
I know I have a 3G capable SIM, because it has been used on a Nokia 6110 Navigator at full HSDPA speeds. I'm curious, is there a strange lock that ensures that I can only access 2G and WLAN networks? Is there a work-around that I need to sort out to get access to 3G?

Hi, I recently bought unlocked s10+ (sprint), problem is the network working only in 2g, if i switch to 3g or lte it will become no service, any solution for this or even a paid service?
