Hey crew today is day 2 of owning my red mt4g but today for some reason im getting this constant error with my picture msgs.... It simply will not send. It was working fine before I did that update from tmobile.... Is there something I can do?

i just got my phone yesterday as well mt4g and i was getting the same msg ....i have a vibrant as well for back up or until i figure out which one i like better ...but thats not the point just wanted to say the fix worked u kick ass ........XDA....FTW
THANK YOU! I was having this exact same issue and never looked much into it because I always figured it was the network around my workplace.... Then I realized it was doing it at home too. :/ did this and it worked right off the bat! What's with the "Telkila" apn that was in there? Oh well anyway... really appreciate the tip. Thanks again!

so i have the evo myself and its all set and the such, but to the point at hand. a guy randomly gave me a droid eris today cuz i said i like messin with them and he didnt need it anymore... well me being stupid at times =P decided to do a factory wipe on it before i rooted andddd it now boots up and wants to activate through verizon... IS there anyway to get around this? ive never messed with verizon stuff before. i just wanted the phone as a dev tool for myself..... any and all help much appreciated guys...

Dude make sure your battery pins are not slightly bent. Just push them back a little and that might work. I had the same problem before and that worked.

I searched awhile back about this. Came up empty. there is a few phones that can do it, one if those being the hd2 or whatever its called. Searched for like a week and read a couple forums where devs said it can't be done and they listed reasons but don't remember what they were.
If you find anything post back here.

Boot manager can be fickle. Make sure you enable large boot.img in settings.

Boot Manager has some anti-piracy measures in place. Looks like you somehow sent up a red flag.
Does it wort the 3$?
That's a matter of opinion. I bought it and rarely use it, but that may change next week.
hey xda have a question and as always thanks for all the help ive gotten here. first off i dont even know where to put this so sorry. ok my son has my old moment and he wants it rooted and i dont even know where to look or get started since it has been a year since i messed with it...im sure there are different methods since i had it, any help would be awesome

I'm using the Motorala Razr from Verizon. I downloaded the apk yesterday and it force closed on me. I am not rooted and I'm still running a stock rom. Is this apk Sense specific or HTC specific?

Pretty much. It also tests your sms and mms by sending you one from yourself...

You seem like the person to ask with as much knowledge as you know about phones and all the work you've created; good grief. I am stuck with Sprint and cant leave until next year without paying ETF; long story short; get terrible service and have airave (only works half the time and have 3 replacements-sprint does not want to address to issue; and me being on a SERO account probably doesn't help either) but someone in a different thread mentioned about a sprint diagnostic tool that you can use to force your phone to Roam verizon towers and get the boot rather quickly from sprint; unfortunately he said it was only for samsung devices; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774503

I thought the PRL would need to be changed to something different; I will give Roam Control a go and keep in Roaming...thanks
No you don't need to change your prl. Also, Several Shift ROMs like newSENSE Supreme Sense and StockMod have roam only as an option built in so you don't have to buy roam control if you don't want too.
