Upgraded baseband, Now stuck at DELL LOGO. PLZ help - Streak 5 General

So I was having issues after receiving my beta streak (only booted occassionally, got into restore factory default once). I followed this guide, along with others to no avail. http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/dellstreak22
now I cannot boot anything with the device but power it on and get stuck at DELL LOGO. Cant boot holding volume buttons, or with the camera buttons.. nothing will happen. Im stuck, please help me! It seemed to occur after this step:
Stage 4: Upgrading the baseband on the streak
Once the driver is installed, locate and run qdltool.exe from within the \streak subdirectories. When it runs it will present a fairly ugly application which will have “Port” in the top right corner, it should say USB Diagnostics is connected. Click Run and let it run the upgrade, it should take around a minute or so. If it doesn't say USB diagnostics is connected, close the QDLTool program, pull the USB cable out of your PC and then whilst holding "Volume Up" plug the USB cable into the PC – restart the app.
The result of this is that the baseband (firmware of one of the chipsets within the streak) has been upgraded

[Q] Problem re-flashing Swiftdroid

It seems that I'm in a pickle here.
I already had swiftdroid installed but then I wanted to re-install it. So I tried but after flashing euro+fast.kdz , I got stuck in boot-loop. I tried doing the steps but I think I might be doing something wrong. Well, to get into fastboot to test if it went through would be holding the "camera" button or is it "home+camera" button during reboot? Thanks. Been at this all day.
Oh, and it appears every time I try to power on and hold the camera button first, it just goes to a black screen. So, by that have I already installed the rom properly even if it gets stuck on the android logo?
and an update as to what's happening:
going into download mode detects my phone on "device and printers" but as soon as I click on "Launch software update" I lose all the icons and KDZ returns a message saying "Phone was not found" I just noticed this now. What should I do?
I already uninstalled all drivers installed on my pc and re-installed them. After doing so, my phone detected a whole bunch of LG devices. Now on Android logo -- That after doing the Euro+fast and now am trying to do the out.kdz. By the way, even if my phone restarted during the "Launch software update" I waited for it to say finish right before I took out the battery and the usb cable.
After param 207 my phone went into boot stage and my pc re-detected the LG stuff. Now my phone is on the LG logo and it's been like it for a minute+.
I am following several steps on doing this procedure.
--Now question is again.. After this step should I be able to launch fastboot via "holding the camera" button? Do I need to do this while the phone is plugged in to the computer?
......
already tried euro then the out then euro using phone cs_emergency. Currently on Android bootloop. So I think I'm kinda back to step 1. Because initially, when I had swiftdroid, I just did euro using phone diag then afterwards, it went to bootloop. Now when I tried to restart my phone then I press and hold of the camera button, phone goes into a black screen. But looking at the "devices and printers" page, it shows "unspecified--android" on the bottom. What should I do then?
So right now, I'm currently on Android logo bootloop and if I reboot then hold the camera button, it goes to a blank black screen. What should I do next? Thanks
Update:
so yeah, after dwelling on the black screen, I tried to open up Mur4ik's old thread looking for the files I downloaded last year. Tried the command prompt and typed this in
fastboot -w
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot reboot
After doing so, phone rebooted okay. Right now, phone status seems fine. Some adventure I had. Will try to work on how to upgrade the version on this unit.
Nice work dude I too did all that stuff, its really adventures
Now I came over it and now I'm trying all roms

[Q] Brick fix?

Posted recently as my Nexus 7 seemed to be bricked. It seemed hopeless as it was a competition prize and i had no receipt of purchase and it seemed that the factory warranty had run out. nVidia the competition sponsor I guess bought a shed load of them and then handed them out later.
Anyhow, after seeing repeated demands that I use the original charger (which was a US charger and as such not compatible with 240V power in the UK) I finally decided to try it. I remembered that i had bought a transformer for a guitar effects pedal so I plugged that in and the charger into that and then the Nexus 7. Still no joy. However I decided to leave it connected and let it charge over night and the whole of the following day.
This evening I forlornly tried to boot the unit and HURRAH! I got the Google logo.
I waited for the animation to start for Android....
And I waited.....
And I waited a bit more....
Nothing. It seems stuck. I then powered it off by holding the power button and it turned off, only to immediately turn on and stop at the Google Logo. The only way to stop this was to get into fastboot mode (Power and volume down pressed) and cycling to power off and hitting power again to execute.
So I thought I could get somewhere.
However I cannot get it to go properly into recovery mode. I get the bootloaded screen where I can restart the bootloader (which does just that), power off (which also works correctly), Start (locks at Google Logo) or recovery mode (which also locks at the Google Logo)
I cannot get to the screen with the image of the Android with the red triangle and the exclamation mark.
The bootloaded screed says the following:
FASTBOOT MODE (red text)
PRODUCT NAME - grouper
VARIANT - grouper
HW VERSION - ER3
BOOTLOADER VERSION - 4.23
BASEBAND VERSION - N/A
SERIAL NUMBER - 015d2d422357f20b
SIGNING - not defined yet
LOCK STATE - LOCKED
I have the SDK loaded and I cannot get the "Fastboot devices" to work. I previously sideloaded KitKat onto it so all the drivers are installed. I cannot get my PC to see that there is anything plugged in to the USB port. I think i need to get to this screen so that I can initiate a total system restore don't I?
Also the system heats up like an oven when it is locked at the Google logo.
I have repeatedly tried to get the drivers installed and have yet to get the PC to recognize the device. This is really wierd as I had used the adb to sideload KitKat onto the device.
Shortly after the sideload and a small 1.5Mb OTA update it went on the fritz. It would do absolutely nothing. After an extensive charge on the original 2A charger I can get it into Fastboot. However the fastboot sometimes freezes and I cannot get into Recovery Mode. Whenever I try to hit the power for recovery I get the Google logo and that's it. Have tried numerous presses of Vol-up and Power but no use.
It seems that there is something that the unit is trying to process and cannot get past that point. What can I do? I seem to be in driver hell. I am totally Stock. When the system was last operational USB Debugging was switched on. I don't care if I have to wipe it flat, I just want it working again.
Help please!!!!!!

The only way I could get it to work was the following; however there is one thing to try before you try my way because mine did this also - after the wipe and flash with flashtool etc. The only way I found to get out the bootloop was to do a factory restore after when its looping. So from the boot screen loop hold the power button until it goes off then on then off again.
Then do the process to get into the recovery so hold down and power then release power as soon as the lg logo appears (first one) then press it again immediately that SHOULD get ya to the grey factory reset screen. Press the power button 3 x and it should do a factory restore and boot up this time. First boot may take a minute it should eventually start up.
Failing that try this - Open the lg mobile support tool and connect the phone in download mode (volume up and power with plugged in usb on mine) then go to options and upgrade recovery. it will download a file usually about 2GB then install it, the phone will reboot at 100% on the phone and 80ish% on the lg tool it will then start into the setup feature,
DO NOT disconnect the phone until it gets to 100% and finishes. This way you shouldn't need to do an extra factory reset.
I understand for this the phone needs to be seen on com 4 (it shows on the phone screen) so if necessary go into device manager with the phone still plugged in in download mode and select com ports then select the phone com port then right click >properties> advanced and change the com port to 4. It may tell u its already being used but don't worry it is fine. Save and exit device manager.
please bare in mind these are just my experiences on MY LG D802 however its worked every single time for me without fail and ive done it a good few lol.

Guys, my phone has turned into trash, or seeking help

Guys! Here's a problem. Yesterday has set itself a new stable firmware - 5.1.4.0A after the phone rebooted and hung on the OS boots. I decided to reinstall other version - now the phone is turned on, 20 minutes running and goes into an endless reboot (the logo MEIZU).
How can I escape from it? Flashing through recovery does nothing, it is possible as that through fastboot?
The only solution to boot up pressing th power button and "+" button. If it is power up the connect it to your pc. You must see a recovery drive. if not you need to install windows drivers for your phone. Then copy inside this drive THE VERY FIRST FIRMWARE that you phone was running before any upgrade. This was the only solution that worked for me and i try everythink else. Hope best luck.

help pls, nexus 4 softbricked

Hi guys,
I had Pure nexus rom installed:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-pure-nexus-project-layers-t3237366
and everything worked fine for weeks. Yesterday I noticed that my nexus 4 is using battery too much, without any reason.. Then my phone turned off, try to restart but it was stuck on google logo. At that point there was 20 or 30% battery left. I boot it to recovery, wipe everything and tried to restore factory settings, cos I didnt have any backup on phone. But again it was stuck on google logo.
So now I cant boot it cos there's no system installed on it, basicaly there is nothing on my phone. I tried Nexus Root Toolkit, but my pc dont recognize my phone, when I boot to recovery it's still the same, so I cant install drivers..
At this point, I have no idea what to do.. Can anyone help pls?
Thx
Can you get into fastboot? Are you using Win7? Tried different USB ports and cables?

Thx for quick reply !
Yes, I'm using win7 64x, I tried all usb ports and 3 different cables and nothing. I can get into fastboot and recovery, but pc still don't recognize anything..
i am currently under the same situation
only difference is i can still fastboot and flash a recovery (twrp for that matter)
afterwards, when booting to recovery - i can install a rom
once the rom is installed, reboot does not boot into the ROM and instead just displays the google logo - then vibrates a little - then the screen turns off
I just tried on 2 other win7 pc's, still nothing.. Nexus root toolkit just can't establish adb/fastboot connection..
edit: other thing I tried is to copy ROM file on usb stick, and then connect usb stick with micro usb cable to phone, and when I'm in recovery (twrp 3.0.2-0) there is just ''internal storage'' option.. Is that normal, should twrp see external USB drive? Cos I'm thinking that maybe something is wrong with usb charging port (I replaced that board month ago).
Hi,
I have a similar problem:
I had my mobile in working condition and once when upgrading the OS to 5.0.1, it downloaded the OS and was upgrading. During that process, the charge got over and hence the phone was shutdown. There after, it was not proceeding further from Google screen when trying to reboot. So, i thought battery is dead and replaced the battery with a new one. Now, i am getting the following problem:
The phone doesn't turn on(not even getting GOOGLE screen now). But, If I keep holding power button and Volume down button and try to insert the charging cable immediately then i get the boot menu but it wont stay there for even a second and goes to GOOGLE logo screen and gets shut down. Please help me with this.
Hi guys,
I menaged to fix the problem, my problem was charging port (smal L shaped board) that I replaced month ago. That's why there was no connection.
I got another one this morning from ebay, and Nexus Root Toolkit established connection immediately.

That looks like a stuck power button.
Try just holding the volume down button and plugging the charger.
If you see the fastboot screen, you have a stuck power button.
Just experienced this issue on a Nexus 5 and I was able to recover from it by "massaging" the power button for a while.
