Connecting bluetooth headset

I have Motorola S9 Bluetooth headset, but when I put i in pairing mode, and search with the phone, nothing comes up. I have tried alot of times and nothing, any suggestions? Thanks
I had to try 20+ times before I got mine to pair up. Hope you like music with zero depth... I regret buying those things
i had a similar problem like that. my phone wouldnt see the headset. i had to factory restart the thing..and it suddenly works now. . i dont know the protocol for factory restoring the thing, might have to hunt for it. mine was to hold the volume and power buttons down for 10 seconds.
p.s. i have the H670

Where did you get the protocol for factory restoring the H670?
i hunted on every site i could. i eventualy found it on the manual of the device from the motorola site. kinda wierd when the same identical manual is still sitting on my desk
I made it, just some difference from what is written in the manual about the linking operation.
Do you have any big problems when you are outdoor. For example when i'm outdoor and listen music , if the phone is in my pocket it stops from time to time (very often), if i wear it in my hand it is also fine (almost no stops of the music)
Indoor no problems at all, no matter where is the phone no connection problems
i havent used it much for audio. bad enough the kaiser has a bad battery, but sucking 3G juice and bluetooth? lol. i use the headphone part when im on the train and dont feel like holding the phone to my head. plus the double ear pieces helps drown out more of the train roar. the only cons ive gotten so far is a high pitched frequency. wether on or off the train. might be the bluetooth peice...i woudnt know untill getting a new headset

Bluetooth...

It was no problem with my Pro2 to listen to Music via bluetooth !
Now with the LEO - which is the best device which I ever had - I can use the phone over bluetooh but hear no music.
I also marked under advanced the music button
Pls help me
I have a similar problem, though not quite the same. I am actually able to connect up my BT headset, but the advance controls no longer function; only voume control. No Pause, Forwards or Backwards! (in both Coreplayer & S2P).
They clearly recognise that a signal was recieved (if i try forwarding), however the player just minimises one receipt of the signal, and upon maximising just ignores the functions.
Anyone experiencing similar issues?
I just talked to HTC - they said probably it is the wrong device (head set)...
I have the same problem.
I have a problem with using my MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth® In-Car Speakerphone, which in my old phone (nokia e71), worked like a dream. With Leo, connects ok, butafter playing for some time, will hickup for like 7-10 seconds, then resume, play for another minute, and repeat. This seems to coincide with the phone going to sleep? ie: after the screen turns black. I am running s2u2, and when the music stops, if i press any button to wake it up, it starts playing again. As long as i keep the screen active, it plays.
Is there a setting that is making Leo to "Standy", either in s2u2 or in OS?

HTC Music player randomly skipping music

Hi all, I'm new to the forums so don't be too harsh on me, and sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere (skipped through like 15 pages)
I have a, in my eyes, huge problem with the HTC Music player, sometimes it just skips songs or fast forward through them, then it takes a while before it stops and I can listen to music again, and sometimes it won't stop and I have to turn my phone off and on for it to work again. This is really annoying and happens 4 or 5 times in my 1 hour trip to school.
As I said, it does occur randomly, but on some songs more often then others. I put them on my phone with Windows Media Player. I also keep it upside down in my pocket if that's a problem. I also tried other ear-phones but that didn't solve anything.
Thanks in advance and I hope there's a solution to this ^^ also, are there more people with this problem, I have searched the internet quite a bit but found no information whatsoever.
yes, I have same problem and its only when using not htc's headphones, so it must be a problem with headphones connector on HD2.
Friend of mine is having same problem.
Yeah, it works fine with HTC's crappy headphones. Doesnt work with my Shure's.It does work with my portable speakers though.
HTC Music skipping and stopping
My problem is that when i turn on HTC Music it works fine with headphones other than the HTC ones until i lock the screen. Then it cuts the music out once or twice then cuts off completely, all within 60 seconds of locking the screen.
Thinking this was a problem with the headphone's connection jack, as they are from an old Sony minidisc player, i went back to the crappy HTC headphones and the same thing happened!
Any ideas for a cure would be greatly appreciated as i get around by cycling and it defeats the purpose it i have to stop every 2 mins just to restart the player or answer the phone.
HTC HD2
OS Version5.2.21869 (21869.5.0.82)
Manila Version 2.5.19211619.0
ROM Version 1.66.405.2 (76641) WWE
ROM Date 01/11/10
Radio Version 2.06.51.07
Protocol Version 15.30.50.07U
whenever there is incoming call while i am listening to music..... it will happen right after screen is off.
i called HTC support about this, but they said no such case reported and tested...
Now my solution is to press the Play button on Headphone or do not lock the screen.
Any permanent solution ?!
thanks alot !!
ive been having a problem when i hook it up to my dd monitor in my car, it goes wacky and changes songs and fast forwards, rewinds. its only when i hook up to the 3.5 jack from my deck, headphones is no issue...im stumped
Has anyone come up with a solution?I have the same problem when I hook up my Sensation to car radio through 3.5mm.Starts fast forwarding and skipping through songs.
the stock earphones come with 4 metal pieces in the jack, while the others have 3.. my theory is that non-stock headphones sometime mimic a press of one of the buttons. as this also happens to me sometimes while removing the stock headphones from the device.
if you're good with welding stuff, buy a 4piece jack and connect the new headphones to it
Found a fix was hoping for sometype of patch but this works to.Do a search for, "headset blocker" in the market.

Phone frezzing after disconnecting from radio

Hi guys,
When i have been listening to the regular FM radio on the HD2 and i remove my headphones (not exiting form the radio player itself), there is a count down from 60 seconds to exit the player.
If I leave it (i.e. im in a rush and just quickly take my headphones out and forget to disconnect from the player), when i next make or receive a call the phone freezes!
I have to remove the battery and restart.
has anyone else experienced this problem?
What is the solution?
Seems like a software bug to me!
Many thanks
from the threads I have seen the FM Radio is a waste of time on the HD2 (Crap) try a different Radio loads on here
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/
tried a couple on there and they seem to not be working on the HD2!
I don't particularly want to connect to internet each time when i listen to the radio.
Also this may only be masking a deeper issue with the software on this phone?

FM Radio Jack

The only set of earphones that works perfectly for me, is a set of earphones, with 4 METAL parts divided by 3 PLASTIC parts -/-/-/- (in the " male" Jack pin that sticks into the hole)...the standard "stereo" Jack didn't work for radio...(I.e. -/-/- ) I think you need the set with an inline volume control. (Just my experience ). Other "media" (movies, music, web, etc work fine with simple 3 part pin...
Anyone else try a 4 piece vs a 3 piece male pin, for FM?
that makes perfect sense why if I have my headphones half unplugged suddenly I get great reception. someone at HTC HQ really didn't think the placement of the antenna connection through properly.

I know!
I was going to exchange my phone for a new one, I was getting tired of using the "official JIGGLE TECHNIQUE", to play radio.
Three things:
1) Radio works AWESOME now, scanner is good, but the radio "pops" when moving about(like walking or riding a bike) like the old car radios... how did car radios get fixed?
2) The inline button works for turning on and off the Music Player, while I'm web browsing! I can also change volume and skip songs with the inline button! CM6-RC1
3) I have no radio with CM6-RC1

First thread...new-b
I wanted to edit my reply, but a new reply was posted...
I must have hit the wrong button...
Then I couldn't figure out how to delete my new post.
Anyway, I can't "volume control" from the inline button(up/down) but it can skip songs(two fast clicks, while a song is playing) ... it can turn on/off songs(even while web browsing-without interrupting your web page...or seeing the player)...
But you can go to the player with one long button push, then back to your web page with the "Back arrow" button on the phone.
