[THEME] Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 - Motorola Droid and Milestone Themes and Apps

Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1
This Theme is ONLY for GOT_2.2.1
This is a screenshots sample of Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1:
For more screenshots of Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 take a look HERE.
Before doing anything take a Νandroid Backup just in case...
For installing Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 you will need G.O.T OpenRecovery v2.0 that you can find HERE.
So download G.O.T OpenRecovery and extract it as it is on your sdcard (you must have on the root of your sdcard a folder named OpenRecovery and a .zip file named update.zip)....
Then download from HERE the Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 and unzip it to your PC. Take the folder Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 as it is and put it in the folder /sdcard/OpenRecover/Addons/Themes.
Close your Milestone. Get into GOT OpenRecovery v2.00.
Just to be sure make Wipe cache Partition και Wipe Dalvik-cache.
Then choose Stock G.O.T Feature menu - Theme Menu - Install Theme Menu, (tick [Χ]Τheme Framework, [X]Theme Apps και [X]Theme Fonts) and then choose Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 and let it finish.
After make again Wipe cache Partition και Wipe Dalvik-cache and Reboot.
Now your Milestone will open with your NEW Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1.....
In the Screenshots the notification bar may look GRAY, but it's not, it's BLACK.
The Opened Notification BAR (see the fifth screenshot) is as it is in Original GOT THEME, so all gredits for that go to the guy (he_stheone64) made this Theme and most of all the services.jar file...
Kalagas_Grayscale_for_GOT_2.2.1 is HERE...
Good Luck... And don't forget I don't have any kind of responsibility if something happens to your Phone...
If you like my work, feel free to buy me a beer...

UOT Kitchen

Ok... can somebody tell me how to upload framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from stock browser to UOT kitchen?
I get files not found after clicking select button.
Or is there any UOT kitchen app? That would be great!
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
How to use the kitchen
1. Go to the Kitchen page http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
2. Browse through the available mods and choose what you want (don't forget to press Generate preview if there is such a button)
3. Go to the file upload section and upload the required files, or choose the ROM you use from the kitchen's list (most roms in the list are for HTC Desire)
Files you need to upload:
Froyo rom: framework-res.apk
Gingerbread rom: framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk
Gingerbread with sense rom: framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and com.htc.resources.apk
Cyanogenmod7 rom: Cyanbread.apk or Androidian.apk or any theme for ThemeChooser (rename as you like it to apear in theme menu)
NOTE 1: if you’re uploading theme apk then do not upload any other files; you’re just wasting traffic, because the kitchen will ignore additional files
NOTE 2: Font packs and boot animation do not require files to be uploaded. If you choose only those mods then you get a download without a queue.
4. Go to the summary section. All chosen mods must have a green background. If there is a mod in red background it means you didn’t finish it.
Press Submit work to kitchen
5. Remember the UOT file name (your order number).
6. Go to the Pickup page http://uot.dakra.lt/pickup/ and wait for your file to appear (it can take from 5min to 1hr or more)
7. Download UOT zip into SD card of your phone
8. Reboot into recovery
9. Wipe cache and dalvik-cache (just in case). Do not wipe data / factory reset.
10. Flash UOT zip
11. Reboot phone

CM7 ICS

Hi
I saw this thread in Android Themes and thought I would link it here.
It shows u how to make cm7 exactly like ICS. I tried out the settings mod and the statusbar layout.
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19705557
The layout procedure is pretty complicated so I simplified it :
-Download ics_sb_layout by zdunex
-extract it on a computer
-open a zipped rom and move the following files to the "files_to_patch" folde
*/system/app/SYSTEMUI.apk
*/system/app/DownloadProvider.apk. */system/app/Music.apk
*/system/framework/framework-Res.apk
-run the patcher and one by one select first 4 options
-select option 5
-flash ics_patch.zip via cwm
Tested with BurgerZ.
I am not responsible for bricks
For some reason I can't upload screenshots. If anyone wants to see pm me

is deodexing like this?

if there is an apk named browser.apk and an odex file named browser.odex
if i do is modify the zip and rename the .odex to classess.dex and placing it on .apk will this be eodexing?
if so would this work on my cherry mobile titan tv/karbonn a30 ics MTK6577?
No Deodexing is something else.... If you wanna deodex then
1.) Download XUltimate (google it)
2.) Switch on USB Debugging Mode and connect phone to pc! (Dont switch on USB Transfer)
3.) Now Select pull and deodex all folders! (if this option is not there then something similar to this will be there)
4.) After deodexing all apks the place where you installed xUltimate there will appear to folder done_app and done_framework.. (Something similar... This depends on the version of xUltimate)
5.) Rename the folders to app and framework and then copy to sdcard after activating usb mode
6.) Push the folders into system folder va Root Browser! (I hope you have rooted your mobile)
7.) Reboot! You are done
*NOTE: If you get an error while deodexing delete the .odex of which it is giving error and then select deodex both folder!

I found one on xda but link is dead can u give me a copy and does xultimate work with ics?
Sent from my Titan TV S320 using xda premium
odex is a file which makes the system load apps faster,
so you cannot modify a system app without editing the odex file,
it's like a browser with cache,
deodexing would cause the system to load each time you access a system app,

Deodexing files for s3v3n's ROM v5.0

I deodexed system files for s3v3n's v5.0 ROM - as I know, not all customizations through xPosed are working with odexed, or partialy deodexed ROMs. Hopefully s3v3n won't have objetions. One more thing - there isn't Gravitybox - You have to install it again - I deodexed it after upgrading Gravitybox to newer version.
Instructions:
unzip files to your SD-card
boot to TWRP
go to mount and select to mount system partition
go to advanced/filemanager
delete /system/app, /system/priv-app & system/framework - you have to go to particular folder, then tap&hold select then delete
copy app, priv-app, framework from your sdcard to
/system/
fixing permissions is not necessary
PS: You are doing it on your own risk.
Download here: deodex-s3v3n-v5.0
Can you please deodex 5.1?
working on that, maybe @ evening, I have to deodex several 32bit apps...64bit are done already but because of some 32b there are some conflicts
