Hi there; apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I can read all my emails except the ones from HTC which only display the header; the rest is a blank screen.
All other emails received are aok.
Any ideas?
are they the preinstalled emails or did you actually recieve new emails from HTC ?
hi they were new emails recvd from HTC after I had reported the proximity sensor fault
I'm not sure what to say, mine work fine and haven't read about this issue anywhere else

I have a strange problem with my HD if I send a message the correct picture displays, if I send another one shortly after the same puctures appears as the first despite it being sent to different pictures .. anyone else got this problem ?

Slightly confused by what you mean? Picture Messages (MMS) or do you mean the contact pictures? Not to shy away from resolving you're issue, but if you are using the stock client I really suggest you download Handcent SMS which is far more robust and functional.
Sorry mean contact picture is handscenr ok ? I found it a big buggy on my desire

Sorry for the slight off-topic from the normal questions here but since this has happened with two other android phones in addition to my G2 I cant imagine that someone else does not have this problem as well.
This has happened rooted or not rooted. It has happened with the stock ROM as well as Cyanogen.
Sometimes when an E-MAIL message comes in from one of the email accounts I have setup on the phone it also comes in and can be viewed thru the SMS or MMS messaging, but the message is cut off.
The messages I am talking about that can be seen as SMS/MMS are NOT being sent to the e-mail address [phonenumber]@tmomail.net. They are coming to three separate private domain email addresses.
Does this happen to anyone else?
Any way of preventing a e-mail message being seen as a SMS/MMS message. I hope I am explaining this clearly.

Really? well you can easily forward ALL of your gmails to go to your [email protected]...
I used to do that back in the days before mobile push email lol
Is there anyway to change how HTC Messaging displays an SMS received timestamp?
Currently it shows the time that your phone actually receives it. I'd like for it to show the time the SMS server receives it just like the WM Messaging app did.
At times I'm in a spot where I don't have service for extended periods of time & I'd like to know if the SMS I'm replaying to was actually sent recently or a few hours ago.

I've got the attached installed on mine. My HD2 now shows the sent time in brackets as part of the SMS, if that differs from the received time.

Does anyone know how to get push notifications to work on HTC Desire HD. I am using 2.2 and ticked all notifications in settings. I dont get any sound or vibration when I get a new chat message!!!
There are no push notifications on Facebook... Only check by intervall... But I can be wrong !
even i check all the settings but after i log out and log back in the settingd are back to default.

The Push Messages has been enabled in the latest version of Facebook available for download from Market. the Stock version of facebook doesn't support Push Notification. Guess this update cam out 3 days back.

Didn't notice that you are already on 1.5. I didnt have to change a thing...installed and the Push Notification started working almost immediately.

mine works all the time as well. i find it irritating so i might turn it off. latest version of facebook
It works intermittently on mine, hope they sort this out.
Also, does anyone else have the problem with the contact pictures/thumbnails disappearing? It's driving me crazy! I'm running the stock HTC ROM.

The new chat notification is the most irritating **** i've ever encountered. One notification is fine. 80 notifications after 3 minutes? No thanks! I deleted the update after a couple of hours.
Yes, i disabled the notifications in the settings, but that didn't help. God i hate it!
I'm getting the push notifications when someone commented on a post or replied to a post. It doesn't work for comments on videos though.
Hello, got my Htc desire z last night and wanted to transfer my sms messages from my old touch pro onto it. Finally managed to get that done but the inbox and sent messages from my contacts appear individually listed and not merged in one screen as on the touch pro.
So i can see everything i have sent, and everything i have received but in different threads from the same contact.
Any ideas on how this can be merged? I did a search and found someone a while back with this problem but there was no solution.
Can anyone help please?
