I want a pure chinese traditional rom...
however i hate the version of 6.5.... I want to have a chinese trad. verision that have 6.5.3 or 6.5.5....
Anyone had base rom that had this language??
You can use an English version and than install a Chinese font. Search the CAB file and get it.

Hi! I want to put greek in wm5 rom of my iPAQ hx2490b. Is it possible to do it in this device? I read in the forum about programs that edit the rom and that can take language files from a different language rom and put them to the original rom. But all this are for other devices and or other WM version. Can someone direct me in which tools need to download that works for my device's rom and how to use them, and also where to find greek language rom?
My rom file is EPAKROM.nbf

I am going to receive a HTC Touch Cruise with WM Pro 6.0 in dutch. I would like to change its language to english or french. I plan on upgrading the OS to WM Pro 6.1 (via HTC website). Does anyone know if this will allow me to change the language of the phone?

Not sure, but i guess you can download the WM6.1 WWE rom from the forums (here) and flash that one to your device and you will have english language

Never installed the original HTC rom in a different language.
Installed different cooked roms without any problem. I recon there is no problem with a original though I can't imagine someone want to use a original .
afaik you can install any rom - it's refalashing, so it doesn't really matter what rom u had
just download and instal rom u like

but i want an original keyboard not an add-on program
is there any cab or installtion file that i can install on my hd2 and replace lets say replace itallin keyboard with russian keyboard? or something like that

Currently I have multi-language Win6.5 but want to install Lite ROM ... many of the have only English.
Questions - is that possible to install a Russian language support after installing the new English ROM or I need to use Multi-lang Lite ROM ???
Or maybe it is possible to download some Multi-lang Lite ROM, extract Russian language (question - how ???), download another Lite ROM I have found (with many nice features) and integrate (question - how ???) the extracted Russ lang file(s) and then install this updated ROM with English and Russian.
All your suggestions and tips are very appreciated !!!

Custom roms can only be in one language. Because of the locations of folders and because of the mui files. But if you have a rom, that fit your needs, you can ask the cook, if he is willing to make it in your language.
Your stock rom's aren't multilanguage, too. If you change the language (Not the regional settings), device will reboot and unpack the needed language files.
what about this post: [ROM][25/07/2010] I8000 - Sense 2.5.2016 - MultiLang (sorry, cannot post links yet ... topic number 750783 ) ... is that also Custom ROM or Stock ROM ???
i do not know much about sense porting, bt i have heard, too, that with sense multi language rom is possible.
