Music Player stops when Camera is activated - Fascinate General

So is the Music Player supposed to stop when I activate the Camera app?
I just picked up my old Droid 1 and HTC Incredible and they don't seem to have this issue.
I do recall my iPhone 3GS having this issue though.
Anyway I can fix this issue??

HTC Magic Music Issue

Hey,
I've searched through all the topics and I'm pretty sure this hasn't been covered.
When I'm listening to music on my phone, both using bluetooth and the crappy HTC wired headphones, my tracks will randomly skip and play a few seconds of a totally different track, then just back to playing the original track I was listening to.
The track name/album art/timeline don't jump, they continue on as though everything is normal and the original track is playing but the music jumps.
I've tried playing music through the player that came on the Magic and also the Cuber^3 one. Though I also had bluetooth button issues with the Cubed one.
I've searched around on google and haven't heard of anyone else having a similar issue.
What do you guys think it could be?
I've got a 4GB Kingston HC, with a little 4 in a circle on it.
My Magic has Android 1.5 and SenseUI running on it. It's TIM branded, not sure if that help working out what's going on.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] S3 vibrating when listening to bass heavy songs with headphones.

This is probably the freakiest problem that i have ever had I normally use Player Pro for listening to music but when I use it in the S3 the vibration module becomes active and it vibrates along with the bass heavy songs. I am getting the same problem sometimes with the stock video player...and also MX video player. interestingly the stock music player does not have this problem.
Anybody getting the same problem...any idea how to solve this?
Initially i was amused with this thing..as it sort of makes video watching better. When i was watching Thor...the fighting portions were double the fun because the S3 is underlining the epicness with vibrations...For the first time I was thinking...Is this a bug? Is this a feature?..Is this both?
But now I just want to get rid of it..hearing music is ****ty on the long run.

Its not a problem or a fault, its a feature called auto haptic feedback. Think it in the sound setting.
The bass be pumping! Pumping! Pumping!

[Q] Help For a Fellow Music Lover

Hey guys. One of the biggest draw backs for my Nexus 4 was the sound. After installing CM 10.1 and franco.Kernel-r102, that all changed. After I got my cup full of ear bleeding, I decided to look for a visualizer. I stumbled across Audio Glow, a live wallpaper/visualizer application. The thing is, it won't work with PowerAMP. It needs the meta data from Simple Last.fm (Scrobbling application for those who don't know), and SL.FM force closes as soon as a song starts. The wallpaper gets no meta data in return. So, is it something with the ROM, the scrobbler, or PowerAMP? I'd also like to know if anyone else can reproduce this for me so I can let the developer of Audio Glow know it isn't just my Nexus with this problem. I've already contacted him with the problem and we've figured out that it's, in fact, not a problem with Audio Glow. It's rather something happening with the data transfer between the apps.
Tl;dr:
PowerAMP isn't working with Audio Glow on CM 10.1. Who can reproduce it?
try projectM look it up on the play store.

Bluetooth issues

I have some really weird and annoying issues with bluetooth audio on my Note 3:
1 - Basically whenever the screen turns on or off, the blutooth audio will cut off for few seconds then come back.
2 - When I use it for google map turn by turn navigation, the first seconds of the voices always get cut off, so if the direction is long, I'll hear the end. And if it's short, I won't hear anything.
Anyone else has similar issues? If so any solutions? It's driving me nuts and I'm not even sure if it's the Note 3 issue or Android 4.3. My Note 2 has been working flawlessly with the same setup for the past year. My note 3 is running AT&T stock ROM, rooted and unlocked, froze some bloatware with TB, my bluetooth headset is Jaybird Bluebuds X. thanks for any suggestions!
I had this with my old HTC EVO 3D and my pluggin BT FM Radio device. I thought it was that but my Note 3 works perfect. Nothing like what you described for me.

Which version of the note 3 are you using? is it rooted with custom rom or everything stock?
I just deleted all system & user app cache from Titanium Backup, this seems to have solved the first issue. But I still miss first few seconds of spoken direction from google navigation with my bluetooth headset. I'm tempted to do a factory reset now...
UPDATE: I did more testing and have found out more. it seems to only occur during audio stream switching. If no music or audiobook(I use different apps for them) is playing, there is no sound cut off. but if either the music or audiobook is playing, first few seconds of audio from any notification or google voice navigation is cut off.

Well, that's better than the Bluetooth on my Note 3 LoL. On my Note the voice on the other end is muted every now and then when calling with a Mercedes carkit. (Comander). And... when streaming music to a high end apt-x dongle (HTC car A100) I get some gaps in the music
Never ever had any problems with the same configuration with a gazillion other Android phones
Firmware: international J7
For my note too, MJ7 rom , I have BT- streaming music and sometimes is starts jitterining and cut outs some times, it note my bt car radio that was problem, cause my friends xperja j work flawlessly. Shame with mi6 rom too before it got updated.
This is very annoying for the most expensive and best phone available!
Same on you samsung!
please if you find a solution contact me!
Thanks for this info. I'm choosing between the Note 2 and Note 3 and will go APTX exclusively. Worrying that it cuts out like that.
When it works, what about the actual audio quality with APTX? Have you listened to high resolution FLAC files, and can you tell a difference with the Note3 and APTX on?
having the same problem, really sucks

I've tried both custom & stock rom based on several variant of the 4.3 roms, they all have this issue so eventually i just gave up.
The good news is that I'm running on Kitkat 4.4.2 now, both rooted and stock seem to have fixed the issue, bluetooth audio switching is extremely fast(along with everything else) and no cut off.
hope the new kitkat will fix it
hope the new kitkat will fix it, i'm waiting for the t-mobile to release it, hopefully soon, also i tested on the samsung mega 4.2, it works perfectly, so it just 4.3 version , thanks for the information.

[Q] Adjusting volume stops playback

Hi
Ive had a problem with my old S4, and now aparently I have the same problem with my S5.
Whenever I adjust the volume of any playback, the playback stops. This happens no matter what sound adjustment i use (volume keys, headset, or adjust on screen.)
This is quite frustrating as you can emagine, as I have to unlock the phone, and start playback again, to adjust the volume, to start playback to adjust volume, to start playback and so on...
As I have had this problem with both my old S4 and my new S5, I cant really believe that it should be a HW error.
Does anyone have a similar problem or a solution for this issue?
Please help!
I would recommend performing a factory reset to determine whether it is a software or hardware issue.
If it persists you should return it! And maybe consider the LG G3
After reading all about the G3 I kind of regret getting the S5, and plan to potentially get myself a G3.
It has to caused by an app you've installed. I've never seen this behaviour on any of my galaxy devices, and definitely not on my S5. The music carries on playing no matter how or when I adjust the volume.
What music player are you using?

I am using the standard music player - Any ideas on how to find out what app is causing this?
The only way is disable/uninstall all 3rd party apps one by one.
Or get don't pause from the play store. There is a free and paid version.
Edit, I haven't experienced this issue on 9 galaxy phones but I also don't use the stock music player. My theory about the above app is because it automatically puts phone to vibrate it should circumvent this issue..

I have just tried with dont pause, and I still get the issue.
The issue is not related to the standard music player... It pauses no matter what media, or player I am using and no matter how I adjust the volume...
I guess I will have to factory reset and try installing apps one by one after that.. Unless there are any other suggestions?
