Could be a other app interfering. try it with no apps in the background also if youve enabled MMTaskManager close that down.
Ill try to recreate and see whats freezing the app.

WM6.1 ROM (build 20931) is finally out for testing. The released ROM uses 12MB of pagepool. You would like the speed of this ROM. I am sure you all shall like it.
MAIN Feature:
This ROM can be dumped and recooked. Unlike many of the cooks, no RGU have been deleted. No DSM has been deleted. yeah, I know some friends in the forum eagerly want the rom with diamond m2d skin. For that c_shekhar's thread is not updated a lot, I just open a new thread to release this recooked version.
Thanks for using my recooked version of WM3.18.931 from c_shekhar.
I used that version for a couple of days, I found compared with the 3.13 it's less of stability and performance, and seemed that 3.18 has some bugs, so I'm back to my 3.13 now.
BTW, I'll be testing for one day more, I'll release it in a couple of hours. You know I want to share with you guys with a bug-free release. Just be patient, there is only one color match I found and I am fixing it now. The rom will be uploded in 4 hours.

Reasons for using 1.60 Drivers instead of 3.18:-Reasons:-
I encountered many problems with almost all the new ROMs cooked with 3.13 or 3.18 set of Drivers.
Following were the main problems:-
1. The Prog Memory goes down from 102 MB to meagre 84MB causing shortage.
2. The Manila 2D sliding is sometimes sticky with or with out 3D drivers.
.AND
3. Many of the programs dont run on them.
4. While using any of the programs sometimes the device suddenly used to stops responding for 2-3 seconds.
So I begin to ask myself, after all, what have we gained with new set of drivers???????????
And what is wrong with using a bit older drivers till we get a better and stable ones from HTC
So, here are my effort to:
1. Use 1.60 Set of drivers.
2. Remove 3D drivers (sorry bally3)
3. The XIP is all re-done. And the ROM is re-tuned.
4. Downgraded the Radio to 1.58.25.14.
Result:
1. The Prog Memory increases from 84 MB to mere 101+ MB
2. The Manila 2D sliding is butterly smooth.
AND
3. Most of the programs sould run now.
4. The device not stops responding any more.
!!!!!!!!!!!!At least I am very happy and more satisfied now.!!!!!!!! bye bye to driver set 3.18

The dialer has no viedo call! you will need to install another dialer for that. Search in the forums you will find one.

is this ROM completely in German? or mixed? because the highest official ROM in Gemrany is 1.48? All Windows Settings and Sense are in the choosen language?

For some reasons I dont kinda like some part of the UI espacially the bottom buttons thats the only reasons and couple others stopping me from using these new builds. Also I am not sure also if these the MS builds are 100% compatable with sense 2.5 and I love sense 2.5 and thats one of the main reasons I am getting A HD2 also with the speed.
But probably in the near future.

SSPL or HSPL ?
Sorry for the newbie question, but can I use SSPL for putting this ROM onto my HD2 or do I have to use HSPL. The later, for a beginner, seems a bit dangerous since I apparently am in danger of getting a very expensive paper weight if something goes wrong

I tried your rom. It's fast.
I found issues, when I run you tube, it pop up a dialog box saying that there is critical error with certain code number (sorry I forget the number).
But, the youtube still open and playing like there is no problem at all.
It really bother, because everytime you click the clip (any clip) the dialog box will pop up and by press ok, it will play the clip.
That is what I found for the moment.
