[Q] rom for HTC HD2 US - HD2 General

I have successfully installed android to my htc hd2 us phone. Everything works great except for phone calls and voice. I’m having an issue with audio. I hear robot noises during calls Its recommended to switch over to a new Windows Mobile rom but am not sure which is the best and don’t want to ruin my phone.
It was suggested I use this rom: Miri's 6.5 V18
Any input?

Buying HD2

Hi guys could you give me some advice, tips before buying hd2. I use to have htc touch hd like year ago and have to say i was absolutely happy with it.now im with X 10- not very happy so i was thinking to go back to htc.
And how about android on hd2- is it working good???
Thank you

android works pretty good , has its flaws but i use it every day and i use win mo everyday , i flashed omega xt cht13.3 and radio 2.14.50.04 , the stock rom just sucks in my opinion,so flashing isnt necessary in some cases but it was for me , i absolutely love the phone and how you can customize it and switch back and forth from windows and android , that in itself is a good selling point , screen is awesome ,i cant see my self ever to down grade in screen size , imo its not too big ,but it is the limit, any bigger would just be obnoxious
So, the must have for HD2 Windows Mobile
-Cookie Home Tab (and Editor..)
-Cooked ROM 6.5.5 with Ameba settings (for Softkeybar)
-AE button Plus for remapping button (hardware)
-Opera Mobile 10 or Mini 5.1 (as u want)
-Torch Button -> using Flash
-Clean RAM for manage your RAM..
-JSPA Progam Manager & CSMI for manage icon and folder of the start menu
-Whip2Snap for make screenshot of your mobile screen
-a good lockscreen like S2U2 / or original WM with skin pretty great
For the HD2 Android:
Just choose your ROM, Darkstone builds or Shubcraft (and all the others..) works pretty fine !
Thanks guys and what about the overheating of the phone?
Does all hd2 have that???

Just kidding, its your choice but I whole heartedly recommend it.
BTW Im on stock tweaked ROM and like it.

thank a bunch
Disappointed...
Well, looking for a way to get back to good-old WM 6.5. Can I reflash with WM 6.5 cooked ROM? I've installed WP7 and I can't do squat with it. It's like an iPhone... locked. There is no tethering so I can't share my connection with my laptop. No file manager - everything is dependent on LIVE and you can't boot Andriod.
i've checked and it's worked well on my phone....easy to flash the rom.thx to DFT
where is the link....or Rom...or pictures?
lol so yea post is looking a little empty
I've tried it last night. Unsuccessfull flasded on TMOUS HD2 (
there is nothing there, what gives?
So Android or wm7 .... I think it will be fun but android will be a better OS

Where is the link from yesterday?
Good thing I downloaded all the files yesterday
Wp7 I soo easy to navigate thru best windows far better than band Android driod look so poorly develop
HELP!!!
Anyone know how to get back to WM6.5?
WM7 works great, but lacks WiFi-Router, Flash browser, direct SD access from Windows Explorer for file transfer, Live doesn't work yet and you can't add any applications to it. Don't try it until they get the Live connection working or MS decides to allow free access to marketplace without restrictions.

Is the HD2 the first device to run the most mobile OSs?

I have just loaded an Android ROM onto my HTC HD2 and its working really well. Thanks for all the info on this site. Now my friend who has a HTC HD Mini has asked me to android it aswell. Can i follow the same procedure i used for my HD2 or do i have to use the alternative method. Many thanks
Why do you post your question 2 times?
Btw: There is no "HTC HD2 Mini"
Sorry my PC was playing up and it ended up doing it twice
Thats curious, a 5 minute lag between both posts... maybe we should call an admin for that

Had a similar problem.. For me it was a limitation of the VB, which restricted USB connections to the VB.. in my case it was Ubuntu and Virtualbox OSE..
But as I still have a good 'ol WinXP machine running, I did not bother reading deeper into this..
but there seems to be a solution
http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch12.html#usb_linux
I was able to get it to sync on vb but when I get to the tri color screen it goes to the HTC screen where it does what it does and come back with a error 262. Not exactly sure what's going on but I need help figuring this out.

[Q] Windows mobile 5 and Android device

Hello Guys,
I have a very tricky question for you, so if it is not possible to do what I want, tell me.
I work with bats and I need a windows mobile 5 device to make a connection with a bat detector.
I also have a HTC One X "global edition" and a malfunctioning HTC HD2 "Leo" that I think it that can be repaired (it fell in the water and the backlight is not working). The first one is running the newest Sense and Android 4.2.2 and the last one has a ICS ROM.
What I am asking you guys is:
It as any way to running the WM5 in the HTC One X using a "emulator" or something?
Or you think that is "easier and cheaper" to repair the HTC Leo and downgrade to WM5?
The program that I need to use is capable to running in WM6 but not in all devices.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Fred

Hello, if you need a gadget running windows mobile 5 natively, I have a HTC Universal (MDA PRO) lying idle somewhere in the house. The problems are that I live in Germany and the OS is in German. You can make me an offer if you dont mind to have the gadget notwithstanding.
