[Q] Bluetooth Headset on Atom/RW6815 WM6.5 (general problem) - iPAQ rw6828, XDA Atom General

Hello all,
as I read there is a general problem about not being able to use a bluetooth headset on an Atom (I have HP RW6815), upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5 (I believe it is not ROM-specific, but applies to all WM6.5 ROMs).
Is there any solution or at least workaround to make the headset work on a WM6.5 Atom?
Thank you for any hint and Best regards,
d11

*bump*
I would like to ask again the same question, if anyone would care to reply...
Is there a WM6.5 ROM for RW6815 that enables Bluetooth Headset use?
I have tried three different WM6.5 ROMs (Nhocbanme, And-3 and Frantic) on my HP iPaq RW6815 but none of them enabled me to use Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth handsfree.
Thank you for your help and Regards,
D.

Bluetooth with XDAII i

Hi, I've planned to by the new XDAII i (in Belgium the Qtek 2020).
Does anybody can tell me if it is OK with a bluetooth car Kit? With the XDAII normal, I have a lot a Bleutooth problems that I hadn't with the Mini.
Thanks for your answers.
I've had no issues with the BT on XDA2i, other than my old headset wouldn't work with it - something i've now discovered was probably more to do with the headset than the phone.
All other aspects of BT work a dream.
Cheers
Ant
PS - XDA2i uses a Widcomm (now Broadcom) BT stack, not the MS one as used on the 2.
Still can't get my XDaIIi to send files via BT to my laptop! I tried it with my old XDA 2 and it works a treat........
Someone please help, i don't know how many times i've posted this topic

Magician (Qtek S110) Bluetooth Upgrade

Hi I've been looking through the forum for the last couple of days and I'm really impressed by the great tips and downloads etc.
Anyway I have a question regarding the Bluetooth configuration /connectivity options available on the S110. In comparison to my other devices the Bluetooth on the S110 sucks.
So I'd like to install the Widcomm version, I've tried the bluetooth_GPS.cab but it fails to initialise the bluetooth stack, so the question is has anyone been able to install and overwrite the current Bluetooth on the Magician?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
sorry to inform u that the Widcomm Bt stack does not work on the Magician
there is another Bt stack made By toshiba ( for it's own PPC ) and it works on the Magician and adds alot of new profiles missing from the M$ stack , but it's not stable.
I guess I M$ Stack sucks, but you'll get used to it...
cheers

Better bluetooth stack?

BTAudioNav

HI
BTAudioNav does'nt work on my HD2 as it did on my cruise . Thanks
Same here. Believe (but I am not an expert) this is because LEO uses Widcomm BT stack instead of Microsoft's.
Other BT issue is volume of headset which cannot be controlled from device (i.e. changing volume in wmp or pocket player does not have any effect).
Definitely overall bluetooth experience with Leo is a huge disappointment (wonder if it is possible to replace stack with Microsoft one?)

thxs I try to find a solution
Has any one managed to find a solution for this?
Many thanks,

ipaq 914 -- is there a way to update the bluetooth driver?

hi all,
i have an IPAQ 914 and i have many issues with bluetooth:
1) no sound on bluetooth headset when i receive a call
2) no sound when i'm doing a call from headset
3) the 914 bluetooth disconnects automatically and i need to reenable it from the menu.
4) the audio of ipaq is redirect at maximun volume on headset if connected with A2DP feature, this causes a lot of noise and the voice command is distorced.
Now i have the Montecristo image and i have the same issue.
can anyone help me?
is there a way to upgrade the bluetooth stack/driver?
Best Regards,
Sold

do you use this image on ipaq 914?
the link that you reported has in the signature the model 614.
i report these links to describe our bluetooth issues:
http://social.microsoft.com/forums/.../thread/57d13f5d-3c4b-433f-bedb-509203ad9ad2/
and this CUSTOMER ADVISORY --Document ID: c01614043

the question is:
is there an alternative driver for BLUECORE4ROM chipset?
now with WM 6.1 and WM 6.5 the driver is always BCHS_WINCE_MOBILE_4_7_3.
