Do I have this great device: HTC Hero.
One question:
WHY IS THERE NO STREAMING VIDEO!
I can visit YouTube, but other streaming video does not work.
Do you have an answer to this question or a suggestion so that I can watch streaming videos?
Hero does support streaming video - if you can select an "iPhone" stream, it usually works.
Note that the vast majority of streamed flash video doesn't work, because the flash player isn't Flash 10 compatible.

im trying to view live TV streams (PBX TV if someone knows it) , they are at 512kbps
they are very slow, the sound is ok but the video freezes up alot
i tried using coreplayer (Qtv GDI) TCPMP and windows media player they all are slow
for example in coreplayer i have 110 played frames and 500 dropped
is there some settings/tweaks that i need to do so i can watch fluid video
or a software that i can use?

Netflix provides its own client app for android.
There are mods to the Netflix client app, but all of them originally comes from Netflix I believe.
I believe that the Netflix client plays streaming movies through the default android video player. The same player used when playing movies loaded on sdcard. So my question is can you change that to a different player such as mobo player to improve quality of picture? Many of these software based playes handle the higher bitrate streaming better.
