i tried to upgrade my o2 arte200,i waited 30min. but installation frozen.
i did reset but after reset my phone stucked at bootscreen

OS : 1.28.0.0
Please help... i tried hard reset and soft reset ... but no way...
when i plug usb cable activeSync dont recognise phone

Active sync is usable only with Windows booted device. If Windows isn't able to boot, you must enter into bootloader, plug usb cable and then start rom flashing.

i run the software "CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE"
but gets an error message " cant connect to the phone"
WHY ???
finally i did connection ...
but goes %3 and gives error message
ERROR 294 INVALID VENDER ID
this update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone.Please check your update utility ??????
CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE
is a Rom for the Wizard not for the Artemis.
You need the original ROM so you have to search for the O2 ARTE200 ROM. The language of the ROM has to be correct as well.

Press and hold the record button and then do a reset.

My DOPOD was in the same trouble. I got the same vender ID error. Does anyone know where to get the original DOPOD P800 chinese ROM?
The same problem has I also.
My ROM upgrade ended bad. Test of installing of different ( I have already them probably 12) the INVALID ends VENDOR ID
I it can not now to remove CID nor to find out what it has it CID HTC__001 does not it fit. T - MOB 005 does not it fit.
I look for original romu from Dngaard ( DK)
Someone knows what CID maybe it is in HTC 3300. I have HTC P3300 is distributed would to Dangaard.

i got it working after i found the original german rom...loaded the orbit into the bootloader screen with 3 colors....plugged in the usb cable..then ran the german rom, after a few mins it reset and the orbit loaded up...after that i followed these steps to get it into english

flashed it with the tmobileuk 1.13 shipped file. everything is ok now.

could you tell me how did you manage to conect your phone? i have the same problem and i can't get my palm recognized by windows...
you must go into the bootloader.
i´ve found the orginal o2 rom and now it´s working fine with wm5.
i wait for the o2 official wm6 update (i read something about may).

is that the o2 UK rom or the German one
I just tried to install Rom v2.00.02 PV for HTC Artemis ( Crossbow Style ) on my htc p3300 and the phone doesn't start. Them i tried to go to the bootloader and restore to the original rom but when i try the program say that "Error 260 : Update error" " The update utility cannot connect to your pda phone...."
I dont know what to do.
My original rom is :HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP

I just soved the problem. I was using Windows Vista and it was unable to connect to the pda in bootloader screen. I tried'it in windows XP and voilá the pda came back to life.

I fixed it =)
I first ran the Hard-SPL-V2 and when it got the 260 error in bootloader i just replugged the cable and ran the program again. So now im gonna install a sweet 6.5 rom on instead !!!!

plz help me .after i try instal a new rom ( i did it wrong way)i am stuck in color boot mode screen(pushing record +power buton)
i downloaded several rooms but it give me "error 300 invalid update tool" and the message that say get a newer update utility
i try the original rom (HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP) with no result.I try the original cd that came with the device ...oficial rom downloaded from htc club...nothing !
My device is already unlocked and I have used several ROMs earlier...

I am facing Error 260 on my HD2 and can't even install original rom ....
Currently, using ttyung Brilliant Nexus HD 2.3 Nand Rom...
Reason to flash back to original rom, as I have to send it back to the service center due to hardware issues
