ActiveSync Problem, running even when not use

Dear All user,
i am new to this phone and currently i am facing this problem. My phone seems to run this ActiveSync all the time even when i am not connecting it to my PC.
Sorry to create a new thread as i have search for 5 pages and there is no answer to mine. Please help cause it is quite irritating to see is still running thus contributing to my phone lag.

If you have problem probably someone else also has the same problem and the senior members and techies in the forum would have sorted out the problem long ago
the correct way of going about this to search the forum, nothing would be given to you in a platter you'll just irk the regular and senior members.
Use different keywords pertaining to your problem and read

I think someone might need to have another look at the thread rules. This is the third thread you made about the same issue and you already got an answer in the previous two, so why a third.
I believe the mods will be bringing the hammer down swiftly on you. Stop making multiple threads, especially about an issue that has been answered!

Problem in Thread List (SMS only)

Hi all,
I just want share my problem with HTC 6800 Mogul (Sprint).
It uses WM6.1.
My problem is every single item SMS in thread system list, always for 2016 (year), as attached, "thread_list.jpg"
i was setting my regional setting and clock time, as attached, "clock_system.jpg"
If anybody have a suggestion for me to set system up, due to miss-date (year-->2016), please feel free to comment this thread.

strange, I just got this same date error. Yesterday was fine. Looks to me like a sprint SMS server problem.

yeaahh this case very strange to me.
This was happend in new year eve, from 12/31/09 become 1/1/16 (until now).
I think this is not SMS Server problem since another mogul, which is belong to my friend, there was no problem with this case

there is already a fix for this. A quick search on here or google will get you the cab fix

[Q] Incoming calls Picture Blurry

Hello everyone.
I'm new to booting android os on my hd2 and see if anyone can help me out or show me to the right direction on a little problem I'm having. Sorry If I posted in the wrong forum. Is there a fix or a change of settings to correct the picture when receiving a incoming call. My pictures are coming out blurry, even though they look fine on the screen when I view them.

It happens to me to. Specifically when those pics come from the ones I assigned to the contact. If they are the default FB ones, they come right. Those you assigned, go to their personalized google contact, so, try to lok for a way to delete all previous pictures you have assigned in the past, and assign new ones. Please tell us how it goes.

We all know that it is not finished yet! If you don't know the reason for the problem don't post such comments please!
This is really annoying problem! I've tried to put a new pic to one of the contacts and even used the take photo option but still the pic is very bad! there is some kind of resolution problem here!

Thank you for the response everyone Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's working the android roms, thank you all who contributed to the development, but I wanted to see if there was a solution someone had found and maybe they could share the wealth with all of us. to shadowhacker27, i tried changing the photos and even took photos from the camera but no luck. maybe if there was a way to resizing the picture maybe that would help.

ok i got it ..but how does this help development since your speaking for people

It's a fairly simple question. Android is nearly there, so don't criticise the questions if they haven't been asked before, just answer them or don't bother (that goes to everyone).
Just for your information RoyG, this occurs on a number of android devices I've used. So therefore it's just a Google related issue. The facebook photos display correctly because that's via the sense interface or the facebook app. So, AFAIK there is no fix as it's not HD2 related.

Unable to Mute phone during the call

This is my first post on this forum. I have recently installed NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9-SD V1.0. Everything is working great except one problem. I am unable to mute the phone during the call. Even though the icon shows as mute, the others can still hear my voice. Please help me in resolving this. I have searched the entire forum but no solution found.
As always keep up the great work.

Does anyone else have this problem on that rom? Did you told chef of that rom about it?
Maybe it's only oversight which requires little fix from chef.

I believe it's not the only problem. ics is still new to hd2 and therefore many things need to be fixed. but he is right, report to chef

Experiencing the same exact issue here.
Searched and searched and could not find a viable solution.
I am wits end on this issue.

Not being able to mute a call is a known issue listed in the thread where the rom is available for download.
If you can't live with bugs on your phone, then I suggest you go back to your official rom from HTC.
These known issues will be fixed when the chef gets around to it...
