i did unlock for it and working but there is problem many times it gives me
that there connection problem (DISMISS) and (SETTING) and i dont know
what can i do inspite that i recieve and send the calls normaly?

the rom is the original with it and I want to use another rom
please tell me what can i do to solve this problem
and what is the best rom can i use (fast, beauty, save battery, good WiFi, etc...)

i personaly like HD2 2.0 UnOff Series
and with the connection problem hard reset should do the job. i had the same problem with the stock rom and i flashed it, so far its been working fine for a month
I get those errors now and again, but they dont seem to actually affect anything. I just have to close them.
I spoke with t-mobile and what happens is that it disconnects from data when it is idled for a while and it automatically reconnects when you need. I guess that is a way to save you money in case you don't have unlimited data i think...all you have to do is dimiss it...not a problem at all.

I have a weird problem with my Xperia. Every time I slide out the keyboard I loose connection to my telephone network. It tries to reconnect for like 30 seconds and then it's able to connect again. No harm done but it's bugging me.
If I want to write a short SMS it's frustrating to have to wait for the phone to reconnect to the network again.
Anyone know what the problem is?
All you need to do is run SEUS update that should take care of it i had a similar problem and that fixed it for me.

You should contact the "maker" of that rom you have. SEUS will update to standard rom.
Maybe you can check with another rom. If you got the same problem I think it is hardware related so you have to send it to SE to get it repaired. If not you better use another rom.
I have tried many different ROMs but problem remains.
did u try flashing newer radio? + use correct rilphone.cab?
i used to have this problem but i have to admit since switching to gtrabs6.5/R3A rom and latest radio with correct rilphone, i have not had the problem...

It make some week i had problem to activate wifi on my HD. On comunication manager, it try some second to activate it, but at the end it still desactivated.
I try to flash rom (some french rom, some english rom, wm6.5, wm6.1...). I try also a lot of radio rom (1.14,1.13,1.12,1.09) and hard reset, but it still doesn't work.
I installed Wifi Monster wich tell me that no Compatible Wifi adapter is found when it try to launch wifi.
If i find no solution i can try to send it to waranty (which mean i'll need to put off all cooked stuff..), but as i go to travel next week, i'd like to find a solution for don't have to use expensive data connexion.
Is someone have one brillant idea ?

Have you tried using wm wifi router or HTC wifi router?

I try both solution without result. On wm wifi routeur, on first startup, it said wifi was not found and ask me to select an interface. I had choice between TNETTW12511 and WWAN1. I try both, but don't work. I start connection sharing but don't see asociated acces point. (wifi stat is at 0db).
Same problem with the other softs...
no other idea ?
I use SD card flash method with olinex SPL 1.56. Is it possible the problem come to that ?
Sounds like the wifi chip is dead - lots of people have reported the same thing happening, and the only option is to send it back to HTC for a repair. We had it happen to one of ours - never found out what caused it, but the camera died at the same time.
The people who've had repairs and looked inside say the boards have been replaced, so it's not just a flashing/firmware issue. Some suggest the design is bad and the antennas are just too close to the chipset, but of course HTC won't comment on that idea.

I'll send it to htc when i came back and i'll use data til that, but it will cost a lot ...

so as it comes to be, my friend former iphone 3g owner decided to pick up the htc hd2 from tmobile, all went well with it for the first couple days, but now shes constantly complaining about email connectivity issues, and her email will randomly dissapear and not be able to connect and slow lagginess on the phone causes her to throw temper tantrums . also for some reason her music is not showing up correctly... on top of that shes using att on the hd2 unlocked , all the settings have been configured but the rom is still on the stock tmobile rom.. so my question to you guys is what would be her best bet at a rom which is extremely user friendly and doesnt have too many options (so basically something like the tmobile rom without the tmobile bloatware and settings on it) something liek a stock hd2 rom , but i know i cant put that because of the radio issues... if anyone can help id greatly appreciate it because i know the true capabilities of this phone and unfortunatly im flashing a ne rom every day, she wants something she can use daily , stable , fast and super user friendly
Try flashing Kumar's rom its the closest feel to the stock rom that I have found. What type of email is she using? I use active sync with gmail and I found that it works the best because its a push email setup. Also you have to remember that since she is on at&t she will not get the 3g speeds so data is going to be slow.
well the data speed is ok and she uses yahoo, but just randomly her emails will get erased or shell get synchronization errors, even though her internet works.. its truly something that confuses the living hell out of me , and which kumar are we talking about what flavor ?

I run Kumar premium and its the best to my liking. First thing she needs to do is get rid of yahoo mail, its crap. With my clients that have yahoo have nothing but problems, everyone else is fine. Tell her to get gmail works great and is super easy to set up.

I have the same setup. I have an unlocked TMOUS HD2 that I'm using on AT&T's carrier network. I didn't like the stock rom as it had tons of useless apps I would never use. So I HPSL'ed it and flashed it with Kumar's Lite 1.9 WWE rom. Try that and see if she likes that. Also let her know that some of the stalling and other issues could be because of the faulty/laggy MicroSD card. If she still experiences issues, have her take out her sd card for a while to see if she still experiences it. If she doesn't then she's got a bad card. Some people do, some people don't. The only problem with the lite rom is it is exactly that...Lite! So if she wants swype she will have to install that seperately. Same for Cookie tabs and other things.
Kumar's ROM is definitely the best that I've used so far. Also, see what radio she's running and possibly try flashing to a different one to see if that makes a difference.

every time i try to connect to the internet using msn, opera, rss, youtube etc it wont even try to connect and switch radio to H.. only after trying a few times it randomly works. like theres a problem with requesting 3g.
I have tried it on various roms and radios, task29, you name it.
This makes me really want to sell the device but hopefully someone can help me keep it because its.mostly good !

have u tried hooking up to wi-fi?
try switching sim cards with some1 else who has a data plan
1) the same provider as u
2) different provider as u
if 1 & 2 works, it might be ur sim card
if only 2 works, mayb u wanna give ur provider a call..

I would suggest trying a friends sim card (preferably a different network) and seeing if you can narrow the problem down to either the phone or your service provider

don't know about winmo, but I was walking with a friend, when suddenly she asked me to download a song, I normally never use 3G, because data isn't standard in my plan, so I have to additionally pay for it, and I downloaded 20 mb in 3 minutes, so I'm not saying this is really fast, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a good speed for browsing. As stated above, maybe buy a sim from another operator, with a reload card system.. those are cheap. Test it out, changes between ops are huge. Depending on how to coverage is in your area...
I don't know if I'm the only one this is happening to, but I have noticed that my data connection is way more spotty then usual. Half the time my email doesn't download and stuff stops downloading in the middle. I don't have any major problems with my voice connection, just my data. I have tried out several different ROM's just to make sure (I am running Elegancia right now), but the problem stays no matter what I do. I have radio version 2.10.50.08_2, could it be that our something else.....PLEASE LET ME KNOW...

i kind of notice that too when i installed " Kumars Rom on my HTC HD2 tmo us, i used to have a solid 3G at most places and most of the time, but recently its been edge and emails and other stuffs are acting up, also i been getting " H " most of the time, its just weird, i might try the stock tmo us rom to see if thats just the cooked ver. try the stock rom and see if you have the same issue.
yeah im getting the same but im still getting all my data fine its like i have full 3g but its not showing up on my phone werid
Flash MIRI's WM 6.5. I did it yesterday and i've been having great luck with it so far. I haven't noticed any places where i get less data connection.
