would a facotry reset restore boatware removed from system/app?

Try uninstalling Fring. My camera stopped working yesterday and the culprit was Fring.

Google Voice issue in SC 2.X

Every few hours Google Voice seems to reset itself to a freshly installed state, stopping it from syncing and causing me to miss messages. Only after I open the app and go though the initial configuration pages again does it function properly (until it resets itself again). This behavior has only occurred on the latest Super Clean 2.X roms. I've wiped, cleared cache, fixed permissions, etc. Anyone else noticed this?

I'm using Google Voice with SC 2.4 and it seems to be working fine. The only thing I can think of that you did not mention is some kind of task killer. I use Mobile Guard and I had to clear Google Voice off of its kill list.
Then it's probably just me. I'll try a data wipe again, should fix it.
Thanks.

Apps show in market as installed even though they are NOT

Have tried cache clean and everything. This is also listed as a problem to others, but I have found no solution. Any suggestions?

try a hard reset
Well, i got a different problem. Today when accessing the market, when i go to my apps it only shows YouTube app as installed, no other app, even though i got a dozen of apps installed from the market. But if i scroll through apps in the market they appear as installed. Strange, as i didn't delete data or cache from market app

Not the problem. It's happening in differnt locations. Thanks
First step, uninstall and reinstall the app. If that doesnt work, try flashing a new rom.
Use G+ instead

That is weird, I don't have that problem with AOSP here, hopefully someone with synergy can answer this better or go to their forum and post this.

yea, delete it and then download again.. sometimes you have to even do a reset. but save contacts first unless you have them on google.
if that doesnt work try downloading different versions of facebook through 4shared dot com
Here's an older version of the Facebook app you can try. I stopped using Facebook a while back, this is the version that I have backed up with TB (1.5.4).
If it works then you know that it's the version of FB you're using. If it doesn't work, you know it's something else - rom related, account related, network problems, etc.
If you are restoring app data with Titanium Backup when you reinstall, it could be something in the data causing problems. If you haven't already, un/reinstall your current version without restoring data.

You can also clear the data and cache in your settings for that app. Go into settings>applications>manage applications>select the facebook app from the list. Pres clear cache and press clear data. You will have to sign back into Facebook after doing all that. Let me know if this helped.
Yep, delete and reinstall the app
Uninstall the Facebook app. Leave it uninstalled. Forget you ever saw or heard of it. The app is nothing but trouble and the updates don't fix anything of consequence.
Then, install FriendCaster. It's a much better Facebook app, IMO.

[Q] Play store keeps crashing

I'm having problems with Play Store, it loads, but then crashes after a few seconds with the unexpectedly stopped message. I'm running stock 4.2.1. I have another user set up, and when logged in as them the play store is fine. I've tried clearing cache & data, uninstalling updates, and rebooting but have had no luck getting it going again.
Does anyone have any other ideas or am I just going to have to do a factory reset?
Try clearing data in Google Services Framework and Playstore then reboot. I had the same problem on a phone and this worked. Sometimes you have to do it twice.

Just tried that, still no good. Guess I'll have to do a factory reset.

Had the same issue after installing Amazon's app store.. Removed it and play store worked as normal again

Still having a glitch even after updates

You'd think that they'd fix the glitch in one of the OTA updates... nope I still cannot setup "Do Not Disturb" every time I attempt to I get the popup "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped". I am using macro droid in the meantime to set up my phone on silent at a specific hour. Does anyone else have this glitch or is it just my phone??
I do not have this issue. Mine opens and allows me to enable etc. However I haven't checked to see if it actually works though.
Do you have a theme installed? Try disabling it.
Have you tried to clear cache/data on the setting app? This will reset all settings BTW.
Have you tried a factory data reset? This will delete the entire phone and internal memory.
