Microphone Issue

Hi,
I am developing a phone application for Wince PocketPC. The problem I have is that when i get a cellular/GSM call the microphone is disabled and I have to plug-out and then plug-in the headset, to enable the microphone. this issue is found on imate-PDA2. I havent encountered this problem on any other device. Hoope some one will surely help me.

HTC Prophet Recording Calls ?

i need a tool to record incoming and outgoing calls. i couldnt find any software. does anyone of you know a solution ? pressing manually and holding the voice key it not a good solution for me.

I´ve tested PMRecorder on my Prophet this morning. Nice program, but unfortunately only my own voice is recorded.
Recording of both speakers will only work with Cingular 2125 and HTC Tornado devices at this time.
I hope they will fully support HTC Prophet soon

does not work as it was told here. only my voice is recorded in a bad quality ....

you will not be able to do so, it is not taking the voice from the modem but from the speaker. you can put the device on loud speaker mode and record it.

VOIP on Cruise?

Has anyone tried installing and using the integrated WM6 VOIP? I´m keen to know which speaker is used when making a call. Thanks

i try it yesterday with my asterisk but i can recieve calls normaly (Sound from Speaker) but when i call the other side dont listen me ...
I will try it today with a voip provider
I use kaiserVOIP.cab (found it on XDA FTP)

built-in VoIP sound in earspeaker

A have tried AGEphoneMobile2 and the sound cam in the earspeaker, but the drawbak is that it uses own phone softwear. So I activate and comfig the built-in voip, it´s great that it uses the biltin softphone, but I cant get sound in the earspeaker. Have anyone solved this?

Skype 3.0 for WM working for anyone on X2 ?

I can't get the (last) Skype 3.0 for Windows Mobile to work on my X2 (MR2).
The app installs fine, connects fine to the Skype NW, shows status information correctly, etc.
But when I call echo123 to try and test my VoIP call audio quality, it:
- does not record my message, or
- does not replay my message
I can hear the echo123 female voice message fine, but I guess "something is wrong with my audio settings...." as she keeps repeating to me.

Skype ? microphone not picking up my voice ?

I can make calls and I can hear my correspondents fine,
it's just that they don't hear me at all .....
Why is the X2 microphone not picking up my voice when in a Skype call ?
The microphone works since I can make regular calls without a problem.
Please Help, Anyone got a clue ?

AudioSwitch fixes Speakers, not Microphone
Hi, while I wait for someone else to join his/her findings, I keep on testing.
Today I installed AudioSwitch.exe. Works great to switch Skype audio to the internal speaker. Didn't change a thing to my microphone not working.
How can I get that microphone to be used as the audio input for skype calls ?

I too await a skype app that works well with the x2!!

Look at the: skype in xperia x2? problem on nimbuzz - Thread. This version works fine. (I've posted the link but i'm not allowed to.)

I face exactly the same a.m. problems ! What is curious is that BEFORE MR2 - same cab Skype_WM3.0 was installed and worked flawlessly. Therefore my guess is that issue comes from skype itself - as they said in www.skype.com "everybody already installed will continue to work..." but after I make an update to MR2 - everything was erased and I have to install cab again, so I guess it counts as a new installation and that is why from skype they "cut" microfone etc...
