SyncML to sync notes? - Galaxy S I9000 General

Can anyone who has the Galaxy S check please whether it is possible to sync notes with SyncML or not?
I currently have an Omnia II and it can only sync contacts, calendar and tasks with SyncML (Smart Sync app).
I have an account on memotoo.com and for my Omnia II I had to use Funambol client to sync my notes to memotoo.
But memotoo.com says Samsung phones can sync notes too (which is apparently not ture for my O2).
Can someone please check if it is possible with Galaxy S (Funambol for Android cannot do that).

does it can solve your problem?
i'm installing mnotes on monday. Will let you all know how it's configured.
Cheers
I use companion link to do a one way sync to google calendar (have had problems using two way - wouldn't recommend it), and ogg synd to sync google calendar with my HTC Touch Pro.
Works like a charm, although my laptop (with Lotus Notes on it) has to be running and connected to update my goolge calendar.
If you're a blackberry user, you can also use the google sync app for blackberry (from google) to sync your calendar, although again, I had issues with two way sync (duplicate entries, changing meetings to appointments which sent a decline/cancel to other attendees).
I've also used mnotes in the past and found it to be excellent, but never used the ota functionality.

Does anyone know how to sync their outlook 2007 notes to their HTC EVO 4G?

expensive but it works great

There is a workaround, to sync Outlook-Notes.
You can use "Note Everything" for use Outlook-Notes.
Export it from Outlook and then import in "Note Everything".
That's not really sync, but it helps to transfer the notes from Outlook to mobile.

Samsung i9000 -> Exchange synchronisation

Hello!
Does the Samsung i9000 have full access with the Android 2.1 to the MS Exchange stuff (ok, I know, without tasks) including the calendar and maybe also the group calendar?
Thx!
Greetings... Plattfuss
Android 2.1 can sync mail, contacts and calendar, but I didn't check if you can open shared calendars in it

[Q] HTC Sense calendar and Lotus Notes sync (via Lotus Traveler)

Hi all,
I'm using Lotus Traveler for mail and calendar sync with our Domino server. Everything works just fine except one thing...
When I create a new appointment/meeting in my calendar in Lotus Notes client and then synchronize it with my Blackstone, I can see all details in HTC Sense calendar. But when someone else invite me, I cannot see any details regarding this calendar entry, just subject and time - no room specification, no atendees etc.
A workaround is to use Windows calendar as I can see all details in it.
Could anyone help me please how to fix this?
Thanks,
Vladino

Froyo and Outlook Tasks and Notes

So what's up with Outlook syncing in Android 2.2? Why is there no simple notes application on this new version of the OS? Why can't it sync with all Outlook features as it did in version 1.6?
It looks as though I will be forced to use Google docs and use something to sync that with Outlook. I use Outlook notes and tasks for work and really need them back on my phone.
I just needed to type and store a quick note on my phone and discoverd that there was no native application for that. Will there be a solution for this in Gingerbread??
Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App
no native.
i use VCOrganizer (tasks, calendars, notes contacts and categories)
(use only 1 way contact sync or u find doubled contacts on the phone)
it works also with outlook 2010 64bits
i treid many but this is the only one i found that sync also outlook notes
not free

...feel your pain. This has been my biggest challenge too coming from years of (relatively) painless Outlook to phone syncing with WinMo phones...but I am loving this more and more every day!
Basically I ended up "moving to the cloud"...using CompanionSync (worth the $$) to auto sync O2k10 to google.com (includes tasks) and EverNote to sync notes. DropBox for documents and folders. Tasks appear in the google calendar on the due date.

This problem (and a full list of potential synchronisation solutions) is well documented over at http://www.syncdroid.net/
Does anyone know is there have been any further developments towards getting all of outlooks features to sync with android??

I use enhanced email. Not sure if it supports tasks and notes, but the developer is very active on his forum for enhancements.
