4G at DFW Airport... - EVO 4G General

... is nonexistent. It apparently doesn't reach the airport. I spent a lot of time there and could either barely grab a signal by displaying 4G but no bars. It was only available in low signal receptions where I went, but I didn't go into Dallas any deeper besides 635 and I-20 and Hwy 80.
Oh well, I still hit 3 mbps which is faster than 3G in most areas.

Here is the DFW airport. The Blue is 4G and Orange is 3G.

I never get 4g at dfw airport. I live in Euless and drive through the airport every day. Bummer.

Haven't tested the airport, but I live in Euless where it shows there's no 4G and I get pretty great reception. I got almost 9mb's down yesterday. Awesomeness.

3-Way (Verizon, TMo, ATT) Speed Tests

I was in a restaurant tonight in Vienna, VA tonight and was messing around with a friends Droid and another friends iPhone 3GS. I thought I might as well do some 3 way speed tests for the hell of it.
This pic represents a decent average of what all 3 phones were getting. I did several tests and this is about what they all consistently got.
Also, when I was in a different location, I got 3261kbps down, 1306kbps up
Supposedly Vienna has HSPA+ live, but who knows.
I am running Froyo with the new radio, just so you know.

Sprint's 4G Rollout in NYC may be around the corner

A few minutes ago I was able to get full signal strength 4G on Manhattan's upper east side. Running speedtest netted nearly 3mbit.... certainly promising.

ive gotten 7down and 1.5 up in the upper west side
i still get no 4g. Right next to Penn. I get about 2 minutes in queens on the LIRR, but thats it.
I've noticed it going up and down a lot lately, has anyone else? I had it working here with great speeds @ Worth & Lafayette for about a week and then it disappeared. Now it just cycles from scanning, connecting and back to scanning. Still works great for me in Brooklyn, though @ King's Highway and McDonald Ave.

4G in Oklahoma City

It looks like they're starting to flip the switch on 4G here in OKC.

Awesome, same things happening here in Tulsa too. I was starting to think they forgot about us in Oklahoma.
Some areas here in Lawton are covered, but the college is about 2 blocks from any coverage... Seems that the areas in Lawton that are covered have no one in the area that can use it... lol. It has expanded recently though, it wasn't anywhere west of I-44, but now its even up to Cache & Sheridan intersection. I heard from a source that we are expected for 4G around spring, and so far, he has been right.
I was driving by the fairgrounds in OKC today and flipped on WiMAX for the hell of it like I occassionally do and it connected. I only stayed connected about 30s or so, but I was streaming music and I switched to Slacker and it was downloading... I got disconnected and was never able to get back on... Is this normal?
I'm running CM7. In advanced under WiMAX it shows Signal Strength (Simple) as Excellent.

Wifi/4G/3G fastest download speeds

Post Your Download/Upload Stats

What is everyone recording as their max download and upload speeds?
I normally see around 130mbps down but was shocked to get 177mbps and over 190 tonight.
I'm just northeast of Seattle, WA.

I'm in the Gwinnett area and got 136 mbps down - 40mbps up
Got this the second day I had the phone.
I only get around 10-20Mbps down and 0.5Mbps up where I live on T-Mobile with a 955U S8+
I live in a horrible dead zone, I'm lucky to have unlimited unthrottled internet at all.
