How to ulock UK T-Mobile HTC HD2?
Call T-Mobile, they have yet to refuse a phone unlock for me ...
I'm not from UK.
Any other metod?? Free one??
try calling TmoUS, it should still be in their system, same type of UNlock code ...
costs you nothing to try ...
I'm Serbia and we don't have T-Mobile here.
I'm using VIP network here.

Ahh well that changes things ....
Could find someone in the US or UK to call TMO for you (works best if you tell them you bought the phone outright and are not a TMO customer)..
There are several on "Google" that say they unlock remotely for 20 to 40 $$ ..
Maybe someone here knows of a free one, but I don't , sorry ..
No free codes that i know of. There are threads on here that give links to sites they have used with success just search

Is the phone locked to VIP Serbia?
No it is UK T-Mobile locked.

Hello guys, i've just bought a UK Xperia Vodafone locked version.
I live in Greece, and i would like to unlock it so i can use the sim of my provider (Cosmote).
Is there any free way or i'll have to go to htccodes or pay here?

Did you buy it without a contract? They aren't usually locked from Vodafone UK? Mine isn't.
I'm not sure but maybe HardSPL unlocks?

no hardspl dose not unlock the phone

I got a HTC HD2 from one of my friend...but it is locked to T-mobile.
Is there anyway I can unlock it and use with another carrier?
call t-mobile and say you are going on holiday abroad and ask for the unlock code. Worked for me

Now i bought HTC HD2 T-Mobile UK from Indian grey market.
Will it work in Toronto, Canada??
Do the network standards match?
What about 3G??
Do help me out in this one so that i can decide if i need to sell mine over here or not before leaving.

Are Indian sim cards working?
If they are, then the phone will work normally in Canada too.

yepp. everything works. and yes its unlocked. i guess the gsm and gprs will work but what bout 3g?

I am planning to get a Streak (UK version) unlocked
i would like to know what is the major difference between a locked and an unlocked version?
i just know that a locked version doesnt not support other networks (e.g. O2 Streak doesnt allow Vodafone and etc sim cards to work)
other than this, are there any other main differences?

i am currently in Hong Kong, there is a Streak offer (O2 unlocked version) and i would like to get it this week or so...
i am just afraid that the "3G/Data/HSPA" etc will not work... so i would like to know the locked/unlocked differences

unlocked: use on any network
sim only from o2/cpw locked to o2
unlocked: minus any bloatware that o2 may put on their version.

so the unlocked version which i will be getting, i will be able to use ANY SIM card and use the 3G/Data/HSPA provided too, right?

Yes.
I have an unlocked UK model from Dell directly and I have no problems with Polish and Spanish SIM cards.

Thanks for answering my question too - I want to use the Dell Streak satnav in Spain with a local SIM (unless O2 offers a sweet deal on roaming rates with its Telefonica parent?? But I rather doubt it).
no guarantees on 3g unless hong kong uses the same 3g band.

you need to call t mobile or buy the unlock codes for the phone to then be able to use it on the carrier of your pick
I think he means Georgia in Asia...Its east of Turkey.
And to answer the question,
Do a Google search, or on Ebay, you will find tons of places that will sell you the code.
