It's a Facebook issue. I have a nexus one and it gets the same problem and error message.

I guess it could be due to the recent privacy policy saga and they are undergoing some revamp to their servers, thus the errors.

Mine does it automatically. Not instant though it seems, but that just might be the lag in syncing up and back down to Google's servers between myself and the person I invited.

I sent an email to myself and it seems to have some sort of add in the subject. I left the subject blank but this can't be right can it?

It says what your email below it says, the LA muscle. I think it's a bug. I had this too but when I opened the email it said what I've sent it.
