Tapatalk - Hero CDMA General

Is xda neglecting tapatalk? Never had a new update since its release. We want search, and I found a bug. If I want to refresh a forum, it locks up at processing. I have to manually refresh each thread I am following.

Sent from your mom!

your having problems refreshing? im having problems using the app altogether. most of the times when i open it, it flat out closes. not even a force close sometimes. just gave up on it really.

Thanks for the heads-up, I was thinking about gettin it... Now I'll pass.

Jero, it's still good to use. The only problem I really get is the refreshing and locking up, which I just kill it using autokiller..Otherwise, it's fine. But an update would be nice.

Yeah, it's great for on-the-go reading and replying to keep up on the happenings of the hero section, but still needs work and features. Give it a shot!

Just buy tapatalk pro it works great and has search function

Why exactly can't they just fix this one? Bad marketing tactic if you ask me. I work in a biz that relies on attractiveness and if I offer a turd for free, what makes you think the customer would pay for that turd?

Why use an app that the browser can do just fine. I bookmarked this site logged in and don't have to worry about an app. Browser even keeps me logged in.

Yes. Taparalk makes it. Forums apply plungins. The XDA Tapatalk app itself was made just for XDA though. I'm sure the Dev that made it comes to XDA...either that or XDA asked for one. In either case, the Dev would oprobably see this in the General section as opposed to a device specific section as XDA is not the Dev.

Honeycomb on the Incredible

Is this in the works yet??
I wish I knew how to do these things myself and port it, but cant
so I'm just wondering.
http://t3hh4xx0r.com/projects-2/dev-ports/honeycomb/incredible
You are better off going with CM 7 or CM 7 nightlies than the above link as you will get more support for them here on XDA than that site offers. And in my opinion CM7 is far superior to that mod anyways.

You do realize that their OMHC is a pure beta with hardly anything working, so saying something is far superior to that is a pretty poor choice of words.

Neither of these are acceptable. XDA should pay as much attention to the free version as much as the paid version. Period. It is crooked of them to ignore the paid version....and I am sure as hell not going to install that tapatalk crud.
Oh I agree, it seems a bit dodgy to have a free app that doesnt work with the solution as 'pay for it to make it work' but thats the case at the moment.

Everytime I use my wifes photon I'm thankful for my EVO, even though its unrooted. The photon widgets are lame, not to mention there is hardly any (no clock, email or messaging widgets),no mobile data toggle,if your in 4g area it enables it to connect to data, the music app is plain Jane...I don't know..I'm not in anyway knocking the phone but just my opinion and only a comparison to what I have so don't take it the wrong way. This is an innappropriate tone to use and is disrespectful to fellow members. We receive numerous complaints that XDA has become a site where it is acceptable to be disrespectful and abusive. Moderators have been critized for attempting to be fair and lenient ... everyone has a bad day, right?
While on your week holiday, make time to improve your tone and attitude before returning to XDA; if this is unacceptable, please feel free to frequent another website - the Internet is full of them and easily located using a search engine such as Google.

The only did that because cm was including the gapps inside if the ROM, which unlike Android, are closed source. So, Google told them to stop that, and make it a separate zip.
