I don't know how it happened but i was looking at the back of my phone yesterday and realized that the piece of plastic covering/protecting my flash was cracked. Is there anywhere i can get a new one and replace it myself?
I don't want to pay a lot of money to fix my phone...

I broke the LCD on my phone while it was in my pocket. I am thinking I can pull an Ipod Nano fiasco and get them to replace my phone somehow but probably not likely.
Is there anyway that I can get a replacement LCD from HTC? It looks like I can take the phone apart with the screws. I was stupid to not get insurance and I got a sweet deal on the phone to begin with so I don't want to pay for another one. any advice?
I was wondering if HTC would sell me just a touchscreen that I could try to install myself.

Oh Dear. I will have to get on the phone to HTC tomorrow. I use a wrist strap with my Trinity and it got snagged on the car door today. The phone flew 10 feet through the air and landed on some grass. I thought it was undamaged until I saw the place where the wrist strap used to be - it had pulled off a great chunk of the metal case!
I wonder how expensive that will be to fix?
Also, I suppose I will have to put the original ROM back before I send it in.

You have to pay for the repair anyways since the damage is your fault. An alternative would be to buy new housing from those guys http://cnn.cn/shop/htc-p3600-c-277_278.html and use my tutorial that you can find here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311463 in order to repair it by yourself and have some fun as well.

interested in purchasing my (old) Wing? Its not tht old but the screen is cracked and needs to be replaced. I have everthing includin the box and accesorries it came with. 100$US and its yours. Its still on the tmobile stock ruu never been flashed hard reset and its brand new...let me know if your interested

Safe some money and you can get a new LCD screen if you want to keep the Wing.

thanks but already purchased a new one some time ago, unfortunatley the day after i bought the new one i found this site so i was unaware of any screen replacement...ive had the new one for about 6months now, just decided to sell the old one maybe make some extra cash...

If you've owned your Wing for a while, then you might have ran into this problem like I have--the paint on the buttons chip off! Is there are place to get replacement ones? All I see are cases...
I have the same problem...D=...maybe it's time to get a new phone?

I'm sure hacking it won't be the problem, but getting it without signing with at&t might...LOL

you can check ebay but they only have the full body replacement...makes it look like new. just type full housing t-mobile wing. u have the same problem im thinking of scratching all the buttons off lol
Hey guys, did some searching around here but couldn't find exactly what i was looking for...Long story short... I dropped my phone, shattered the screen real good. luckily i have the insurance and blah blah blah.. Now two things.
1.) I am looking for the most up to date current STOCK tmous ROM so when i give it to them for repair, there will be no questions asked.
2.) My touch screen still works fine, just the glass is broke. I looked on ebay and all i could find was glass and digitizer, but i don't need the digitizer, just the glass.. is it possible to find JUST the glass? Cause even if i buy a digitizer too still cheaper than sending it off for repair.
Although I'd like to receive a NEW phone, cause i'm trying to get rid of it and, "New" sells better then "Dropped once but new glass!"
