Screenprotector problem

Hi,
I bought a screenprotector "BRANDO" and I hate it because it DOES NOT stick to the screen!
Whatever I tried, it just does not stick, it left a quite big area in the edges, and a lot of bubbles.
I use hard plastic (cc) to squeze the bubbles out, it does not work. The screenprotector is to "hard" to stick maybe.
Is it my MDA screen problem ? maybe loosing its electrostatic or something ?
Or anyone can recommend me a VERY GOOD screenprotector that stick easily ?
Please, I hate this problem
Thanks a lot.
Brando is a very well respectable brand in terms of screen protector (sp). Where do you buy this from? How does the packaging looks like?
Which of the brando series that you bought? The ultra clear, which has clear glossy surface and the other one (forgot the name) which has a matt surface.
The Brando sp comes with 3 layer. An external (the front screen-non sticky side) layer, the sp, and the internal layer (the sticky side attached to your phone). The external and internal layers are to be used to assist you to stick the sp, and will not be part of the sp (e.g. chuck into the bin) after you've done your job applying it on.
Yes, Brando sp (ultra clar at least) is a bit harder (card feeling) than most other sp. That is a good point. With it being as a 'card-like' feel, you can easily squeez out bubble as you lay your sp onto your screen.
I did not have bubble problems when doing mine, other than I had a bit of dust inside the sp.

Krussel Case issues

Hi all, just got my Krussel case, found its very tight fitting and that the plastic keyboard cover is rasied in one corner (lower right near M key). Also when sliding the keyboard shut, I can feel it catching on the plastic cover slighty. Anyone else found this? Should I return it or are they all like it?
James
YEP, i had the same problem. it just feels too tight. i went back to the htc cover.

HD2 Repairs

so i had broke the digitizer or my HD2 about 4 months ago and just now repairing it. I have now stumbled upon a problem tho. I would like to know what thickness is the double sided adhesive foam tape that is used to hold the lcd+digitizer to the chasis. Thanks in advance
Same here. I broke my digitaizer, and want buy new one (digitaizer+lcd) on brando.
And when it arrives to me, same question for me. Early, i think that new double sided adhesive foam tape already on the back panel of new LCD....
the lcd+digitizer comes clean with no foam adhesive . i was quite mad lol. i mean i know the thickness should be rather thin but i would like the right measurements for the best results. i tried using regular double sided tape but that wasnt strong enough and the lcd would puff back up due to loss of grip. I really want to get my hd2 back up and running since i bought it on first release international which is not cheap compared to today's pricing on the hd2.
Anyone know at all??? i swear a lot of people are questioning about lcd repairs and stuff so why wont anyone know about the thickness of the double sided foam tape??? im about to just randomly buy some and hope for the best.
its either 1/16 or 1/32 of an inch.
Look in a craft shop that sells card making stuff.
You can get different thickness foam double sided tape.
If you are careful, you can just use a glue like Bostick, place a thin strip on plastic frame, then drop glass onto glue and press it down gently until glass is level with case, clean off any excess glue before re-assembly.
glue is a messy job lol. i would rather just buy the double sided foam tape since its not that much and easy fix.

is the hd mini screen scratch resistant?

hi guys
can anyone tell me if the hd mini screen is scratch resistant?
thank you..
It might resist, but doesn't put up much of a fight!
I bought a used HD Mini and there are significant scratches on the screen, though they don't affect the usage when the screen is on; they do look unsightly though.
i read somewhere that all htc models that have capacitive screens ar scratch resistant..is this true??
Nope!
Unfortunately scratched mine while turned the phone face down...
Cheers!

Click to collapse
My HD2 screen was a lot tougher than the Mini appears to be.
so the hd mini screen isn't scratch resistant...
I have two months with Mini without protection and has no scratch. I carry it in the jeans pocket
Just keep in a soft sleeve. It will do fine. It's glass. Unless scratched by some object tougher than glass. The ordinary pouch, fingers, fingernails, paper, and cloth won't do any damage.
Even if this is some sort of unscratchable super-glass like iPhone 4 *cough*, would you really want to keep it together with coins in the pocket?
