Left hand scroll bar in IE?!

Does anyone know if there's a setting to change the scroll bar from right to left in IE? I looked around but no joy. Thanks lads.
Other than using the unit upside down, I dont think this is possible! I am assuming that you are left handed ?
Nigel
It would be a nice option, not just for Universal, but for Win Mobile in general. I am left-handed, and the vertical scrolling is a PITA. I can not see where I am scrollling to because my left hand is covering the screen, and sometimes even accidentally touching it & activating links.
Same problem here Bill. Anyway, maybe someday Microsoft will make something for us the left handed ones. And thanks for the great tip veletron. lol (I can actually do more or less the same things with both hands but fot this I rather use the left.)
Couldn't you use the scroll buttons instead?
I'm working on something that could be hacked into assisting this, but it'd be a bit of a cludge.
If there's a need shout out and I'll see if I can get around to it.

I have tried using the scroll buttons, but they don't really scroll, rather they jump from link to link (in PIE) which resulsts in very jerky screen movements, and that is not very useful for me.
Then I tried a registry hack mentioned on another forum to make the button do real screen scrolling, but when I tried to use it, the device froze, and sent me to Hard Reset H*ll.
Ideal for me would be in PIE would be scroll bars on the left and buttons that really scrolled. Actually scroll bars on the left would be nice in every application.
It is not a necesity for me, but the bar on the right is an inconvenience --mainly in PIE.
Lefty here as well dude. Would be great to have a less discriminatory device
The worst thing is, that when you use the scroll bar with your left hand, you can't really see when to stop since your hand is covering most of the screen.

Windows slide unlock, Can you move it?

I like the windows slide to unlock feature.
But I hate the location of it? What's the point of putting it right at the top of the screen
If you've got the phone in your right hand it's almost impossible to slide it around (not that I'm complaining about the screen being too big )

I have the slider on the bottom of the screen. I installed 3 cabs for the lockscreen. One of these put the slider on the bottom of the screen. The 3 cabs I used are Dusk_6.5_Lockscreen_v3.0.CAB, HeartofWolf Lockscreen fix v4 transparent.cab and tommy34_fix_2_not_disappear_(W(Q))(Q)VGA.cab. Found them on htcpedia (heartofwolf you can find here http://htcpedia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=363)

OK, don't bother. I tried it and it looks good. Seems to do exactly what I want.
hmm, maybe can skip s2u2 then, since having not so big hand sliding all the way up with one hand was kinda hard
thanks
Why not use your right hand thumb to unlock it?
I can do it with no problem when I'm holding the HD2 in my right hand.

Screen lock config

Hey guys, for some reason my screen lock slide bar switched from sliding upward to the right to upward to the left. it's kind of annoying as i'm right handed and sliding it to the left feels a little bit awkward. does anyone have a solution?
thanks!
There is already a solcd post about this. But if you drag the top of the slider to the other side it changes ;-)

How to change the lock screen?

Hi Guys.
Just received my Xperia X10 2 days ago, and one of the things I hate is the lock screen.
Coming from the HTC Magic, the fact that you have to swipe from bottom left to top right drives me nuts.
Is there any way to change this?
Thanks

Yup, you can change to swipe from bottom right to top left.
kidding... try using the search function next time instead of starting a new thread.

Thanks for the link.
I'm actually looking to replace the lock screen, not remove it completely.
I know 2 products that do this lockbot and lock.
I'd like to get users opinion on both, whether they work well on the X10 or if there is any better option.
Cheers

Problems as a leftie

Hi!
I don't get why there's no possibility to change the position of the app drawer?! Bottom right is quite uncomfortable for lefties. The same goes for the multi-window-sidebar. It only opens on the right side.

You can download Nova launcher from Playstore, as for the multi windows side bar I think there is a setting for that, I saw it once where you can change to left or right side, cheers:fingers-crossed:
I'm already using another launcher on my phone.
You can reposition the multi-window-sidebar from right to left in the settings? Are you sure?
