wouldn't a kitchen be pretty useless without hard-spl for the x2?
as soon as there is a Hard-spl for X2 im flashing this slow and buggy factory software out of this nice phone.
maybe the HD2 roms will not be totaly fluid, but HD, TP and TP2 can be as they all have the same hardware.
I guess when the hardspl is out it will not be long before all good roms for x1 are ported for x2.

i wonder when the hard-spl will appear since my x2 died in a update , hard-spl is my last chance in order to fix it, before send it to SE

I'm not sure. But why don't you give a try? Download the ROM, start flash after ActiveSync. If it goes further then you're lucky. Else it says incompatible device and thats it. No harm.. Just try..
I am doing it for first time. So I would like to know wherther it will brick my device if it is not compatible and also I would like to know it Artemis Vanilla 4.02 is a good ROM or not

This is one of the best rom I have used at my P3350! But remember to use USPL before flashing your device.

Here is USPL: Artemis Update SPL (USPL) v.01, you can use that or, if you download meschle rom, use Step 1, then Step 2

Though I'm a newbee to the WM thing, managed to install Artemis Touch 4.02 WM6.1 WWE ROM, 5.2.19199 (Build 19199.1.0.0) (Full, Lite and Vanilla) to my HTC P3350 perfetly, the thing works perfectly, The contact list looks really cool really don't know how to thank u guys at xda dev, a big thanx goes out to all the moderators, specially "meschle" and "pof" for their excellent roms, progs and the Tutorials.... keep up the nice work guys...... Artemis 4.02 Touch Lite with cube

You have not mentioned which HTC model. It works only on HTC 3300 Artemis & HTC 3350(Love)

You have to first unlock your cid. This can be done by clicking start uspl in the folder

Artemis 4.02 lite with 4side cube
hey this is best rom for HTC love. This is my 3rd day after installing it and it is extremely stable, less battery hungry and reasonable fast.

I had done clik to uspl but the process is stoping there and is telling wrong connection.Then if i run the ROMupdate.exe is stoped at 3%.Thank a lot for help.

Am very very...VERY noob in this entire "flashing" process, and as such, i cannot use cooked ROMS like you guys do and i was just curious, when is the "easy flashing" official 6.1 ROM going to be released for polaris by htc??
Are there any plans in the first place to do so?
According to rumour, the official HTC 6.1 ROM is due to be released sometime this month.

Yeah, the ROM update is to be released imminently.
I've already got my hands on the official Spanish 6.1 ROM, so keeps your eyes on the HTC website..

Can you upload it somewhere so someone can check if it contains the long awaited DDI.DLL that might enable the 3D drivers?

I DO NOT agree.
Biggest proof: WM 6.1 for TYTN II !!!!
Its the law of respecting the customer (which HTC is doing pretty fairly in it until NOW so far).
After how many complain did they choose to relaese a new rom ? and is she really improve the drivers ?

Step 1 is to make sure you have a hard spl for your device (this protects your phone from being destroyed)
Step 2 is to download a rom that has 6.1.

Can it be possible to install ROM from iolite to our Cruise?
I feel myself a little bit dissapointed from all this unfinnished 6.5 ROMs for Polaris.. There is no stabil and bugs free 6.5 ROM for today.
I'm trying to search for stabil 6.1 ROM for my Polaris.
But iolite has it's nice dialer and phone canvas future - no problematic and bug free.
I tryed a lot of ROMs from here and all of them are problematic:
kastas244 Version C - very slow on my device.
Megan v1.2 - Bluetooth problems.
etc... etc...etc..
till now I used 3LITE3_VIII it is a firs sabile and almost bug free 6.1 ROM. but it has some problem with volume control.
Can some one sujest me the stabil and bug free ROM?

No... you cannot install Iolite rom on Polaris...
All the custom roms are not bug free (even the official),because all these new stuffs(phone canvas..etc) are not full compatible with old Polaris...We try to make it possible but it's too difficult because we are not the HTC or Microsoft...we are simple users just like you....but we trying....
Try Kosta's A ROM, it's very fast and stable. You must flash the original RUU_Polaris_HKCSL_WWE_3.19.831.3_radio_sign_25.85. 30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship ROM, then the radio 1.59.46.12, then proceed the hard reset first.

Try Kostas244_ROM3g_23016_FINAL_A1, I have tried the 2g version. You can see on the video in his post how quick is the version. But install the original rom and correct radio as I wrote hier.
