SMS notification loudness

Hi!
I am looking for a way to adjust the loudness of incoming SMS notification seperately from the system loudnes on my XDAII.
What I want is putting the system loudness down so that no menue clicks or game sounds can be heared, but notification of SMS and alarms are still loud.
Is that possible? Any toos for this?
Thanks for help
Dominik
If you've got access to some sound editing software (like GoldWave or something - just search downloads.com for one), copy the sound you're currently using for SMS notification over to your PC, edit the volume level (GoldWave can do this - dunno about others), and then copy it back.
If you increased the sound volume by about 200-250% you could then turn down your system volume, but the SMS sound would still be loud. Be careful if you turn the system sound back up though - you wouldn't want to damage your speaker!

[Q] Change System, call and music volume separately 1by1 bric level

Is there any issue?
An other question, i want o change the sound lvele 1by1 btic level not by 3, how can i change this?
Thanx a lot for your answer
nobody can help me?
nope, can't help you. Not sure that you can divide it that way. Your best bet is to dive into the registry and see what you can find.
To seperate the Ringer and system volume:
Go to Settings -> Sounds & Displays -> Volume. Turn Single volume to off.

Sound level for notifications

Hiya
I have noticed that when I set mp3 sound as SMS or some other notification, the volume is too low when sms is received. But if I play the file in a media player, the volume level is acceptable.
How come on setting it as notification, level of volume is reduced. Any recommendations to increase it as I can barely hear it.
Had my blackberry previously and sound levels were excellent.
Cheers

Well, no problems with me. I have a mp3 notification and it's perfect. My suggestion is, Download an app called Quick Settings from the market set the volume then reboot. See if it works
Thanks....actually just noticed my notification sounds were set low hence low volume.
Thanks for the tip for quick settings though

High Message Notification Tone

I am sorry but I searched and couldn't find any relevant info:
Is there any way to make the message notification sound full without always keeping the system volume to a 100% ?
I dont see the point of having Notification tones linked with system volume.
Shouldn't it be more related to a ringer volume. I am using Dutty's HD V16 COM3 Rom...!!
thanks....
Yeah unfortunately the sms notification is not with system volume. Best solution is one volume setting and not dual.

How to set volume for SMS/MMS/Notification

As title says I can't find a way to lower the 'notification' sound...
Is there a setting for this?
As far as I know, ringer and notification volumes are tied together - one volume control for both. There used to be an Xposed module to unlink them on Oreo. I suppose that you want loud ringer and quiet notifications, in such case you might do a workaround - create quieter or totally silent sound file and select it as a notification sound. Then you can have loud ringer and quiet/silent notifications (or the opposite of course).
