What's new in this ROM?

liquid.modaco.com has more feedback on this rom from users, I'll flash it soon myself too. From what I remember, it solves a few major issues with the last one:
1) message LED staying on
2) haptic feedback can be turned off now
3) all live wallpapers works
4) faster & more stable
5) GPS navigation working properly

i remarked a ****ty new keyboard... beside the working nexus live wallpaper

You can change the input method by either setting or long press on the text box

[Q] Recommend a Firmware

Hi,
I am just posting cause I am new here, and also have some questions and problems with my new X8 from Three.
Basically, the main snag I currently have is that the phone seems very slow with the default software from SE.
Also, the phone seems to be charging completely within about 15 minutes when below 20%, is this correct or probably a fault?
Also, will flashing to a custom software make the phone more responsive and better to use than the current SE software.
Currently the versions are:
Model Number: E15i
Firmware Version: 2.1-update1
Baseband Version: M76XX-TSNCJOLY-53404015
Kernel Version: 2.6.29 - SEMCUser(at)SEMCHost #1
Build Number: 2.1.1.A.0.6
Any assistance is appreciated.
I recommend MiniCM6 1.0.0 RC1
It's android 2.2 and the most stable ROM around here. Everything working.
best always.......... its like final version

Samsung has removed call recording from ICS

Bad news. Samsung has removed call recording feature from ICS (Android 4.0.3) firmware. It means that all applications in the Market won't record calls on ICS ROM. To get call recording back please visit xda-developers.com to find custom firmware with this feature. Sorry for inconveniences. Tap here to hide this message.
Was so pissed that even took my time to type this message over from CallRecorder app by skvalex in here...
So what now? Have to flash additional stuff to make it work again? Samsung, why have you done it? I know it's illegal in some countries to record calls but still... not in every country...
It is not so. You can try Total Recall S2 1.9.7, it works on ics. I tried & it works.
But i use a modded phone.apk cwm flashed file, wherein I get the option to record through the dialer.

Will that CWM zip work on Stock Odexed ROMs? If it will then thanks in advance for directing me to that package.
There is no reason to have a new thread discussing a missing feature of ICS when we already have a thread discussing the features/bugs of ICS

[Q] Hotspot Mod - NAE, MDC, MK2?

Hi Everyone,
I've tried searching Google and using the Search function in this forum but I cannot for the life of me get a clear answer. I rooted my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 phone which had Stock 4.4.2 firmware by following the [SPH-L720] CF-Auto-Root steps and then I installed CyanogenMod 11 by using the Android and Windows Apps. I would now like assistance with getting Sprint Hotspot enabled. I was able to locate the threads in here for the [MOD]. I was able to determine I am not using Odex, but am using Deodex by looking at the System/Apps folder using a Root Explorer. The only thing I need to know now I believe is whether or not I am running NAE, MDC, MK2, etc. as this is not easily available to see on my device (so it seems). I believed it was NAE based on the Build information but that ended up causing me to brick my phone for a moment and having to do a recovery of my last backup.

None of those mods will work, the hotspot mods you listed will not work, they are for the stock Touchwiz roms only. You have CM installed. I believe CM has Androids built in tether provisioning enabled so ask in the CM thread or search your settings till you find the toggle for it.
