This appears to be a free video search/downloader & player. It works well on my ameo, and is free.
Does anyone know if there's a catch somewhere? It's almost too good to be true.

How come that it works well on your Ameo? Most of cases you need to have flash player 8 at least. Did you install it somehow?

Does it? there's no mention of needing it on their site.
i've got fp7 and the flashvideo bundle installed, neither of which are listed as needed. All I did was install the cab of that site.

Thank you for bringing our attention to this program. It works wonderfully on my 8125. So far I have not had any problems and I'm not that great when it comes to computers. Guys, you all have really educated me. I'm on this site daily.

Can you post the cab? I've requested it twice from the website but i don't get the text message.

yep just make sure your browser user agent isn't set as desktop...
try www.vtap.com/alldevices.html#5_ppc
or direct link to the cab.. http://vtap.com/pub/vTap_sp.cab for wm5/6 ppc

This was the only thing I installed yesterday and I did a soft reset in the evening and it would not accept my password. I'm just doing a hard reset now.
I use a simple 4 digit PIN and it has always worked before but I just got
'The password you have typed is incorrect'
it took a long time to take a password at all and was getting a countdown timer above the password entry keys on the screen which I don't remember seeing before as well.
I don't know if it was anything to do with this app - has anyone else had problems?

Because at the time you installed it you already had 7 items in your start menu. It is configured to put the shortcut in start menu, but your had maximum number already

I have re-installed vTap and love it - no problems since I installed again so don't think my problems were down to vTap.
It is a truly useful app!

Just downloaded and installed. seems to be OK, device starts up a bit quicker as well, but starting touchflo3D seems to take longer then it did before.
Had no freezing on messages owever, so must be something that changed for the better

I have noticed that my cpu has gone from 50% down to 36% after installing hotfix

I allways get one error when starting to download.
Can anyone post here the file.

Downloaded OK.
Must admit the "Please waiting" message did not inspire confidence!
TF3D does take longer to start after the soft reset that this hotfix requires. And, it takes a fraction of a second longer to return to the "home" tab than before.
Messages seem a little smoother to enter than before but I can't say I notice a big difference.

For whatever stupid reason it downloads fine with IE, but not Chrome. No wonder, HTC server is .NET

yeaaaah, scrolling in opera in landscape is now possible. no freezes any more. i can say: thx for the fix .

Thanks for this... I noticed the website said this could only be installed on ROMs earlier than 1.19.xxx.x - mine was 1.14.xxx.x, as I've noticed are other people's in their .sigs - does this imply a new ROM is on its way?

Twitter login

Sorry if this been posted, but searched and didn't find anything conclusive. I have this issue with all manilla 2.5.19193*
When login to twitter it accepts my user + password, then just stucks downloading tweets, please wait...
if I change manilla page, then come back, allways gives a connection error.
This happens on all 2.519193* manilla that I've tested. is just me ?

thanks for your reply, did it but it still doesn't work. it accepts login, but then will not get any information from twitter. each time try to refresh it just rise an error connecting.

hmm. Maybe try a few times? Or at Manila there click "all tweets" then "update now". I'm not sure about yours. As I faced this problem and used the method suggested by him and it worked.

Its buggy as hell, some days it works for me, some days it doesnt.
HTC and Twitter have had problems with HTC Peep but according to HTCs twitter-page the problems are solved.
But i still cant add any twitts from my device, I can recieve though.
Hopefully it will be fixed when newer Manila packages arrives.

I only deleted TwitterToken, TwitterTokenSecret and TwitterUserName from the registry then soft reset and it logged in ;-))) Thanks

HTC wifi router -Comm Manager

ok so i put this all in one cab sorry if its a double post and sorry for no screen shots. It works well... at least for me it does
someone please mirror if too many people download.
EDIT: Removed due to problems.... not going to repost right now as i dont have to to fix it.... wifi router should still work though

i don't use manila so im not sure but i think it should work fine

I ask you because after install LEOALBUM i can't see Videos on my phone...
The Album crashed...

Well I installed it last night but it broke my Album. While in TF3D, the pictures scroll very slowly and when you open a picture up you can't get the menu portion and the pictures won't scroll at all.

it has to do with policy 101a in the reg, i think. just search for it you sholuld be able to find a cab somewhere but since others are having problems i would not install it unless your ready to do a hard reset.

You need to have Internet Sharing in the ROM in order for this to work...

Router - Error
When attempting to open the Comm Manager after installing this Wifi Router App, I get the message "Comm Manger doesn't support 'MobileWifiRouter.'"
I had this on my TP, and it came in very handy, would love to get this on my TP2.

Hi, i am using Sprint TP2. been searching for this app for a while. The tom codon didn't work. But i this one is worknig for me. After installing you'll find new folder called "COMMUNICATION" under start menu. this app placed under this folder.

Can anone confirm that it works ok on the HD2? Because the forum says it has been developed for Kaiser but should run ok on WM 6/6.1 devices, I've been hesitating to try it on my HD2, with Artemis v27 ROM (with WM 6.5.5). Anyone tried that already?

i use makisu for email and wifi settings, which is sashimi's little brother (same website), and it works fine, You shouldnt have any problems. Lots of epople use sashimi all the time.

Phunkee, pretty sure he was referring to the search of the .cab itself as being the game.
